Please heed this advice before you head to Songyang!

Life is about witnessing the last secret realm of Jiangnan at least once, right? But before you go, there are things you need to know‼️ - 👉 Mode of Transportation It is recommended to rent a car or drive yourself after taking the high-speed train! Most of the ancient villages in Songyang are scattered in the mountains, and it often takes 30-40 minutes to drive from one village to another. It's really inconvenient without a car. There's almost no nightlife - The preservation of the ancient villages here is superb, completely different from the temperament of Moganshan and Anji. They usually won't extend their working hours to accommodate your 'city schedule', so if you're looking to experience the nightlife of bars and late-night snacks in the mountains? This might not be the place for you, please switch to the local mountain dwellers' schedule! It's too late for anyone to cook dinner for you. Mountain restaurants close early, remember to eat early, and if it's late, call ahead to confirm, so you don't go hungry. I finished dinner at seven and some owners had already closed (although a certain platform indicated they close at eight). - 🌿 It's suggested to slow down and deeply experience everything here If you are a photography enthusiast, you can go crazy checking in at various ancient villages; but if not, don't rush, taking it slow for a deeper experience is better. - 🐜 Mosquito Prevention As the weather warms up, it's inevitable to encounter mosquitoes in the mountains, and there might even be more in the summer. If you're really scared of these, it's best to bring along some brave friends, or choose a star-rated hotel for a staycation. - 🗺️ What to Play (I played these during my 3 days and 2 nights stay in Pingtian Village) - ✅ Chenjiapu Village: An ancient village on the cliff, Feiwuji B&B Coffee and the Pioneer Bookstore are landmarks (but Feiwuji B&B does not accept non-residents for visits, another cafe is available to go to, the scenery is amazing). - ✅ Yangjiatang Village: 'The last secret realm of Jiangnan', a popular spot for social media check-ins, with a big tree at the village entrance and curling smoke, very photogenic! But once it became famous, it's no longer a secret, and everyone is queuing up to take photos with the big tree. - ✅ Pingtian Village: A village above the clouds, so tranquil it's breathtaking, and the mountain scenery behind the village is full of surprises! Staying here for two nights felt like I had the whole village to myself, super peaceful! A place rarely visited by others. - ✅ Songyang Old Street: A quaint street with many craftsmen and snacks, and the same No. 9 Coffee as Gao Yuanyuan is waiting for you to check in! - 🌟 Food and Drink Recommendations 👉 Xikeng Village Frog Brother Restaurant (Home-style stir-fry, the taste is amazing!) 👉 Wang's Kitchen next to Songyang Old Street (The stream fish is incredibly delicious!) 👉 No. 9 Coffee on Songyang Old Street (The desserts are top-notch, definitely not to be missed!) 👉 Grandpa's Coffee in Pingtian Village (The view on the second floor is picturesque, a great place to enjoy coffee!) - Songyang, waiting for you to explore‼️
