I took many detours when visiting the Bund, always because I missed some places I wanted to check in, so I went again!
So, after visiting the Bund for 5 times, I summarized the short-term tour route, passing through all the characteristic check-in points of the Bund, babies who need it remember to collect!!
Duration: half a day to a day
Travel method: It is recommended to walk, the total length is about 2.5km, you will not waste a step and you can walk all the check-in points according to the route
Specific route: Go to the North Bund first and then go to the Bund all the way, it is recommended to check in at the North Bund at noon, and set off to the Bund in the afternoon to see the sunset and the lights of the Bund and the buildings of all nations
Specifically as follows
Take the subway to the No. 3 exit of the International Passenger Transport Center, walk to the intersection of Lushun Road and Dongchangzhi Road after getting off the subway, and check in the Oriental Pearl
Walk to the North Bund Riverside Green Space to check in the Small Dome
Walk to the Baiyulan Square opposite the Small Dome, check in at the window of the L-level square overlooking the Bund
Walk to the intersection of Jiu Long Road and Changzhi Road to check in the European architectural corridor perspective Oriental Pearl
Walk to the Zhapu Road Bridge, with this bridge as the starting point, the four forks up, down, left, and right can respectively reach the main entrance of the Postal Museum, the perspective of the Oriental Pearl on Yuanmingyuan Road, the New Tianan Hall, the south gate of Suning Baoli Jia Hotel, Nanjing East Road, and the buildings of all nations

The Bund National 4A Scenic Area
The Bund National 4A Scenic Area is located in the southern part of Hongkou District.
We came here for the first time and were amazed. Compared with the Bund, there are fewer people here, avoiding the crowd, enjoying the river view along the way, the 'magic seeds' of the riverside green space, the treasure check-in place where you can take pictures casually, framing the Huangpu River, flowers, trees and the 'three-piece suit' of Magic City with one key, and finally sitting on the ferry to enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River, a comfortable and leisurely tour experience.

|You must, must, must visit the Bund!!!
.
"The ten-mile foreign market is a place of fireworks, where fortunes meet on the Shanghai Bund," strolling along the glittering Bund, every casual snapshot is like a scene from a movie. The scenery is really, really beautiful and stunning, you must visit the Bund when you come to Shanghai.
Note: The 12 yuan ferry is worth a try, you can get a close feel of the beauty of the Huangpu River!
2If you go to the Bund in winter, remember to add clothing, the wind is very strong there
SHANGHAI
Visiting Shanghai, one must always take a stroll along the Bund.
The night falls, casting reflections on the Huangpu River✨,
Neon lights flicker like stars🌟.
Skyscrapers reach into the clouds🏙️,
Traffic bustles through the endless night🚗.
The Bund's scenery is endlessly splendid🌃,
The Huangpu River's waves gently ripple🌊.
The Oriental Pearl shines on the horizon🌆,
The night scene is as picturesque as a painting, as beautiful as poetry🖼️.
The brilliant lights illuminate the night sky🌌,
The crowd surges, the joy is boundless🎉.
Shanghai's nightscape is like a fairyland💖,
Enchanting, leaving an unforgettable impression💕.
Rose flowers by the Huangpu River.
Half beautiful, quite beautiful, sharing with you to enjoy the flower rain together, the entire row of roses are bursting with blooms, with seven or eight or nine flowers crowded together on a single branch, from afar it looks like cotton candy dancing in the wind.
With the broad view of the river, the temperature in May is comfortable with a gentle breeze. It's a very comfortable morning exercise. The holiday is so wonderful. I hope to explore more cycling routes this summer.
Yangshupu Road, No. 1088, Fisherman's Wharf.

Lujiazui Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Underrated other side of the Bund
This is not exactly Liujiazui - could not tag a more accurate location. Everyone knows West Bund, Bund or North Bund, but rarely do people talk about the Pudong side of the Bund - 滨江。
To cross the river for Pudong, hop on one of the multiple ferry stops along the Bund - I recommend the 董家渡 stop which will disembark you at 塘桥 - slightly south to Liujiazui. (See map)
The entire ferry ride is a less than 10 minutes and costs 2RMB. Go on the upper outdoor deck to get the best views of both sides of the Huangpu river.
Disembarking at 塘桥,walk north along the riverside promenade (滨江)and a get a closer view of the Pearl Tower as well as the the Bund from the other side.
You can also ride or walk the 20km stretch of dedicated cyclist/pedestrian lane. The cyclable route winds through trees, rises above ground and goes through protected forest areas.
Walk or ride, this is a very nice afternoon/sunset activity to to with a family but expect to have go through a few busy areas - Specially when getting closer to the Pearl Tower.
You can plan a picnic or stop at the multiple coffee stops along the river as well as many restaurants - Fat Cow, Eli Falafel, Chili’s etc - as you get closer to Liujiazui.

Shanghai Travel Recommendation | The night view is too beautiful!!!
⛱️The treasure play area recommended by Shanghai girls~ No need to squeeze people to check in the Bund three-piece set~ I'm so lucky to go back to my mother's house for dinner tonight haha, otherwise I would miss a light show~
Our Dahongkou's North Bund is really fragrant~~ The ceiling-level camping is absolutely amazing
Come, let me recommend you to focus on:
️ 💕North Bund Guoke Center Scenic Area Excellent Skyline Viewing Spot
️💕Paulaner Restaurant, very authentic German beer + snacks
️💕Silver Droplet , it is said that it has a different style during the day
️💕Magic City Matrix Climbing and rooftop camping~ The open microphone segment is really a master among the people!
️💕RV rest area, if you are tired, buy a coconut and sit down to rest your feet, blowing the river breeze, it couldn't be more comfortable
️Walden Garden
【Is there anything else to add haha? I am ready to brush again】
After dinner walk, you can also bring parents and children to stroll around~ Happy weekend holiday!

If you come to Shanghai, don't miss this beautiful and less crowded route
Shanghai is a charming city. If you want to avoid the bustling Bund and experience some different scenery and experiences, then this North Bund route in Hongkou is a good choice.
📍200 Huangpu Road, North Bund International Reception Room.
Starting from the junction of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou River, the view here is super wide, with few tourists👀, suitable for taking photos with a strong sense of the future📸 with a telephoto lens.
📍500 Dongdaming Road, North Bund International Guest Center.
This is the most essence area of the North Bund, with unique landscapes such as silver water droplets🌊, Oriental Pearl Tower🗼 and the three-piece suit🏙️, giving a strong sense of technology. Here, you can also take photos with the Magic City Matrix🔮, TOL Guangting and other attractions, which are unforgettable🤩.
📍Intersection of Lushun Road and Machang Road.
📍Intersection of Harbin Road and Liaoning Road.
📍Jiulong Road.
These places are classic shooting locations. In these old urban areas, you can integrate the new city landmarks with the old street style to form a unique picture🎨🏙️.
📍18 Gongping Road, Jian Investment Bookstore.
This place, known as the real-life 'Hogwarts', is decorated in a British style. It is not only a bookstore📚, but also has coffee☕ and a study area📖, and there are occasional exhibitions🎉, which is definitely a place where people linger😍.
In summary, instead of going to the crowded Bund, it is better to take this North Bund route and explore more charm of this city💫.
