The charm of Weihai is quite impressive even on a national scale

After visiting so many coastal cities, Weihai is especially unforgettable. It's a city so romantic that you'd want to settle down without the need for a filter, and its scenery is on par with that of foreign countries! Spring in Weihai means fewer people and more beautiful scenery, practically having the whole road to the sea to yourself! I've been to Weihai twice and have put together this travel itinerary & recommended check-in spots for everyone, worth saving⭐️! 📌Weihai 2-Day Tour Itinerary: Day1⃣️: Yuehai Park→Weihai Park→Haiyuan Park→Seaside Bathing Beach Day2⃣️: Watch the sunrise at Banmoon Bay→Torch Eight Street→Cat Head Mountain→Beishan Road 🚩Recommended Check-in Spots: ✅Torch Eight Street A controversial internet-famous street leading to the sea, it's really amazing when you go early in the off-season to avoid the crowds and on a sunny day. ✅Cat Head Mountain Ride an electric scooter along the way with beautiful views, no filter needed on a sunny day with the blue sea and sky, and the coastline can bring you to tears! ✅Haiyuan Park I love Haiyuan Park so much! The sea is azure, the trees are shady, and walking down the wooden plank road to see the small boats moored on the sea is a delightful surprise, as beautiful as a painting! ✅Beishan Road The end of the road is the sea, and taking photos of the winding road towards the sea is amazing! Just take photos from the side of the road, but be careful and don't disrupt traffic. ✅Banmoon Bay The romance of Weihai, with the sunrise and sea each taking half the credit, the sunrise at Banmoon Bay🌅 is absolutely stunning, worth staying up all night to see! ✅Naxianghai During the day, it's a clean sunny beach with the sea and sky merging into one, and at sunset, it's the romantic windmills under the sunset glow, hard not to love. ✅Jiming Island A stunningly romantic little island, with a seaside church, a lonely cliffside café, a long coastline, and little daisies among the rocks, so beautiful you won't want to leave the island. ✅Jinshi Bay Art District Blue sea, blue sky, and seagrass houses, it's like stepping into the world of Hayao Miyazaki's anime. The seagrass houses can sometimes be under maintenance and quite messy, so it's recommended to check their status before visiting. 🏨About Accommodation: We stayed in the Huancui District, Weihai is not a big city, so it's convenient to stay anywhere. 🍢About Food: Dajingyuan tastes good, Hanxiangfu Korean BBQ Manor, Taipei Xiaocheng are also okay, Shuangmendong Korean BBQ is average. You must try the figs, they're very sweet😋. 🚗About Transportation: In Weihai city, taking taxis and electric scooters is sufficient, for trips back and forth to Rongcheng you can take a rideshare or rent a car for a self-driving tour. 🔖Weihai Tips: ❶There's a temperature difference between morning and evening, and the seaside wind is strong, so wear something thick and bring a windproof hat; ❷Before going to Jiming Island, check in advance if the boat service to the island is operating, as it may stop during windy and wavy weather; ❸Weihai is located at the easternmost part of the motherland, so the sunrise is very early, check the sunrise time in advance if you plan to watch it; ❹When going to Cat Head Mountain, don't navigate to Cat Head Mountain, navigate to the No. 3 Viewing Platform, you can refer to my previous Cat Head Mountain guide.
