Changyu Dongtian is a quarry site with a history of over 1500 years, preserving pits and caves from various periods from the Sui and Tang dynasties to the present. . 👉Best visiting route (no turning back) Huanxi Dong - Panda Pavilion (worth visiting for children, adults might find it less interesting) - Shuangmen Grottoes - Shuangmen Dong - Shuiyun Dong - Jingming Dong 👉Points I personally find impressive ✅Shuangmen Grottoes An entire mountain hollowed out, the view from the top is incredibly majestic and overwhelming, those with a fear of heights should be cautious. Inside the cave, there is also a 100-meter-long sculpture of the Shanxi Yongle Palace's 'Tribute to the Yuan Dynasty', which is lifelike. ✅Shuiyun Dong Composed of 52 caves, most of them are modern large-scale bell-shaped sites, inside is the largest cave museum in China, 'The Return of the Condor Heroes' and 'The Deer and the Cauldron' were both filmed here. ✅Jingming Dong A free place, with many Buddha statues, within the Changyu Dongtian scenic area, no need to go out of your way, relatively small. There is also a Huanxi Dong, which you can't enter after 16:30, I didn't manage to go in to see it, there is a rock cave concert hall performance inside🎭. ⚠️ 1️⃣We bought a ticket package for five attractions, the price is still a bit expensive, you can also buy them separately, go to the ticket office, Shuangmen Grottoes, Shuiyun Dong, Huanxi Dong are worth visiting, after entering the main gate, each attraction requires a separate ticket check, and the visiting time cannot be later than 16:30. 2️⃣Changyu Dongtian also has a Baxianyan scenic area, which is also sold separately, if you go to see the mining pits make sure to navigate to Changyu Dongtian Shuangmen Dong, don't navigate to the wrong place. 3️⃣If you arrange a two to three-day itinerary, you can combine this scenic area with Linhai Ziyang Street or Wenling Shitang, they are not very far away
