There are many parking lots in Yunwu Mountain, and the outermost parking lot is at least 3.5 kilometers away from the ticket office! I entered the outermost parking lot of the scenic area at 9 am today and was stuck for 45 minutes. There are few ticket inspectors, and tourists can only queue up. Because Yunwu Mountain is a contracted scenic spot for the Wuhan Tourism Annual Card and the Hubei Province Tourism Annual Pass, those who have the above annual cards can enter for free by facial recognition. Currently, it is not required to make a reservation one day in advance, but it was required last week. Also, residents with Huangpi ID cards can enter for free, but it is said that it cannot be used on weekends and holidays. The scenic area is very large, about 3 kilometers from the mountain base to the sea of flowers, and about 3.5 kilometers from the sea of flowers to Huayu Mountain. If you are not physically fit, it is recommended to take the electric cart for the whole journey, because you may have to walk a lot later. Of course, you also have to queue for the electric cart, but the scenic area has dispatched quite a few buses, so the waiting time should be okay. There are plenty of food options in the scenic area, but it is not recommended to buy them, especially the dyed black and pink fruits, which are expensive and not tasty. For friends coming from other places, try to rent a car if possible, and do not fantasize about the convenience of public transportation. From the city center, you can take Metro Line 3 to the Citizen's Home, exit at the entrance of Jinhe Shijia, and take the 292 shuttle bus to the terminal station (5 yuan) From the city center, take Metro Line 1 to Hankou North, then transfer to bus K3 to the terminal station (4 yuan) It is highly discouraged to take Line 7, as it currently only goes to Hengdian, and the Huangpi Qianchuan has not yet opened. Then transferring to a bus, without a seat, the journey is still far. After getting off at Huangpi, take the bus to Paotong (terminal station, 4 yuan, the last bus at 17:20). From Paotong terminal station to Yunwu Mountain is 8 kilometers, there is a direct bus, 2 yuan, the last bus departs from the scenic area at 16:20. Here comes the thunder point, this afternoon, some tourists waited from 14:00 to 15:10 and still did not see this bus appear in the scenic area waiting area. Many people had to pay a high price to take motorcycles driven by villagers to Paotong. If you want to catch the last bus back to Qianchuan, it is recommended to go down the mountain by 14:00. Then find a way back to Paotong, and do not have any illusions about the scenic area bus. After all, it gets very congested in and out of the scenic area in the afternoon. If you come to Yunwu Mountain from Wuhan city center after 12:00, I advise against it, as you will encounter traffic jams on the road, and even if you arrive at the scenic area, you will have to queue for various things. By the time you go up the mountain, it will be almost dark. Anyway, when I left the scenic area at 15:00 today, I still saw many cars continuing to rush in, and I could only wish them well. The temperature difference between morning and evening on Yunwu Mountain is large, so bring a coat. Do good sun protection on sunny days. Currently, the azaleas in the sea of flowers are in full bloom, worth the rush, but it's the most crowded. Huayu Mountain is more remote and less crowded. However, Huayu Mountain is always the first to enter the full bloom period every year. Some flowers have withered today, but since the whole mountain is red, it still looks good in photos. If you go next week, it is not recommended to visit Huayu Mountain.
