This year's Nanputuo Bathing Buddha Festival can be said to be quite low-key, lasting only three days from 5.15 to 5.17, with no official promotion on the WeChat public account, and not many people on-site, but I, always well-informed, got the news right away! I must go! 🙏 The usual route starts from the Hall of Heavenly Kings, passing through the Mahavira Hall, the Hall of Great Mercy to the Sutra Depository, where the bathing ceremony mainly takes place. At the entrance, there are etiquette tips for bathing the Buddha; sincerity is what counts! Scoop up the clean water and pour it over the Buddha's head, wishing for a smooth and peaceful life! 💫 Next, let's talk about the surroundings. The amenities around Nanputuo have been getting better and better over the years! This time, I mainly visited the teahouse on the right side of the entrance to the Hall of Heavenly Kings, where you get a cute cup sleeve with a drink. In front of the post office, you can get a bookmark as a good omen! There are also fortune sticks at the exit. 🍧 Recently, they introduced new cultural and creative ice creams, with two styles priced at 25 and 28 respectively, and the 25 one with the Mahavira Hall design is fantastic!
