Encounter the beauty of autumn in Yangzhou at the Three Bends of the Canal

I envy the people of Yangzhou, they are really lucky. A ten-minute walk out of the house can find a city park, enjoy the happy time of fitness and leisure. The Three Bends of the Yangzhou Canal is a good place for citizens to relax, exercise and enjoy happiness. The origin dates back to the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. In order to change the situation of the "straight canal and difficult to store water" in the south of Yangzhou, the canal was changed from straight to curved to raise the water level and slow down the flow. The canal of more than 100 meters was extended to 1.7 kilometers to form the Three Bends of the Canal. Three years ago in the summer, I visited the Three Bends of the Canal with Mr. D. It was not as well repaired as it is now, and it is getting more and more beautiful. Walking on the popular Silhouette Bridge, you can see the ancient canal water slowly flowing beside the museum. The sparkling water surface is refreshing. The bridge spans the canal to form a different beautiful scenery. The clouds are light and the wind is light, the reeds sway, the ginkgo forest is golden, here you can encounter the beauty of Yangzhou's autumn.
