I am grateful for the freedom that allowed me to witness the winter's Heavenly Lake

At the beginning of the 2024 New Year, I had the fortune to climb Mount Changbai on New Year's Day and gaze at the magnificent scene of the Heavenly Lake. That morning, a thin mist lingered among the mountains, and the rising sun draped the lake in a golden glow, making it look like a mysterious and sacred fairyland. At that moment, I was deeply shaken by the magical power of nature; the frozen lake surface and the snow-covered mountains reflected each other, forming an indescribable winter ink painting. Facing such a majestic natural landscape, my heart was filled with awe for the origins of life and the mysteries of the universe. Every gust of wind and every falling snowflake silently told the story of the ages and the earth's dramatic changes. Despite the biting cold, the sincere emotion and joy felt like a warm current flowing from the bottom of my heart to my entire body. However, standing amidst this vastness, I couldn't help but feel deeply moved. The busy work and trivial matters of life made it difficult for me to fully immerse myself in such beauty, and I inevitably felt a tinge of regret. In this time that should have been spent completely relaxing and enjoying the beauty bestowed by nature, I still had to worry about unfinished tasks and responsibilities. This is perhaps the irreconcilable contradiction of modern life, where the balance between pursuing a career and enjoying life is always elusive. Even so, this trip to the Heavenly Lake has left a deep impression on me and reminded me to learn to put aside my work at times, embrace nature, and experience life. In the new year, I hope to better adjust myself, strive to achieve a harmonious coexistence between work and leisure, and not miss out on more such wonderful moments.
