Yeppoon Main Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
A moment at Fan Rock Lookout, Yeppoon
A must see place if you are in Yeppoon, Queensland, Australia.
Maybe about another 15 mins drive from Yeppoon beach, you can reach the Fan Rock Lookout. Fan Rock Lookout is located in Yeppoon Capricorn Coast National Park. When we reached there we needed to take a short, but steep walk 700 m climb to this amazing lookout with lovely bush along the way. About 10-15 minutes walk from the start to the top. Finally, we saw this great view of the coast and a very interesting, unusual volcanic rock formation. It was beautiful and fabulous. Definitely I recommend you to pay a visit to this Fan Rock lookout if you are around Yeppoon. No doubt the time spend there can be like only 10-20 mins but it worth it. Enjoy the nature! 😍🥰😘

Yeppoon Infinity Lagoon Pool
Don’t miss this Yeppoon Infinty Lagoon Pool, Queensland, Australia
Just along the Yeppoon beach, there is a very impressive swimming pool with great views of the ocean & the Keppel islands as a backdrop. Also free access to the pool to swim. This infinity lagoon pool is so amazing and beautiful. There is a glass café/restaurant beside the pool, but we didn't try it because we had our food along the beach already. There was no more room for more food. Carparks around the pool you need to pay. To avoid paying you can park your car a bit further which is a free park. Anyway, really enjoy the excellent views of the pool over the sea. Don't miss this magnificent, great view pool if you are there in Yeppoon. It's a shame if you missed it.❤️ this place😘😘😘

Yeppoon Beach, Queensland, Australia
Nice trip to the Yeppoon Beach (Summertime)
It was summer when I was in Rockhampton, so It's nice to go to the beach. So my friend brought me to a nice beach in Yeppoon. Yeppoon is situated 38 kilometers north-east of Rockhampton, and was about 25mins drive from our motel.
Yeppoon beach, a fantastic place. Nice flat beach with wonderful weather for suntanning. Walking along the beach was relaxing. We grabbed some snacks from the stall along the beach and enjoy our good time there. Lots of seagulls, and they aren't afraid of humans. Actually they were waiting for our food hahaha... The sand is really firm at low tide, and you can walk for miles. I enjoyed that. Lots of shade areas in the way of trees and palms very beautiful. We had a great time at this wonderful beach. Enjoyed the sun, enjoyed the sea breeze. Good to come here and experience this lovely beach. Also there is a splash water park area called Keppel Kracken for the kids.

Great Keppel (Wop-pa) Island Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
🌴 Escape to an island paradise 🌴
30 minutes off the coast of Yeppoon, near Rockhampton, lies an island relatively unknown in most regions of Australia.
Great Keppel Island was known as a party haven back in the 80s, but all that changed when the resort was shut down. Nowadays there is only 2 or so places for you to stay and as a result you will pretty much have this island to yourself.
Spend a few days exploring the 16 pristine, white-sand beaches, snorkeling on the reef, swimming with turtles, fishing at sunset with dolphins or saying hi to the local wildlife on land.
Make sure to have cocktails at sunset at the beachfront pub, or better yet, bring a bottle of wine, wiggle your toes in the sand and watch the sun dip over the horizon from the beach.
