Guanyin Dharma Realm

The Dharma grace of Putuo. People all know that Mount Putuo has been the Guanyin practice site for a thousand years, renowned as the 'Buddhist Kingdom on the Sea' both at home and abroad. Since November 2020, the Guanyin Dharma Realm in Baishan, Zhujiajian, has gloriously emerged as a new practice site for believers from all over the world and millions of pilgrims and tourists to experience the compassion and teachings of Guanyin. The Guanyin Dharma Realm covers an area of 2,500 acres, consisting of the Guanyin Altar, Lay Buddhist College, China Buddhist Academy Putuo Mountain College, Puyin Hermitage, etc. It integrates functions such as religion, cultural experience, art exhibition, cultural exchange, and sightseeing services, making it the largest Buddhist park in the world centered on Guanyin culture. The park is surrounded by clear waters and lush vegetation, with the Buddha's shade everywhere. The main hall, the Guanyin Altar, under the dazzling dome of ten thousand Buddhas, enshrines a giant thousand-armed Guanyin Bodhisattva carved from boxwood, with a compassionate and venerable Buddha appearance. The various levels of the hall display Guanyin statues and various related cultural relics from China's past dynasties and Southeast Asian countries, serving both as an art exhibition and a place for teaching, research, and exchange. The Guanyin Dharma Realm is another iconic highlight of Zhoushan's efforts to create an international island leisure tourism destination and a world Buddhist cultural holy land.
