It was already evening when I arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I took a stroll along the West Lake. The fallen leaves, though carrying a touch of winter's desolation, also made the night view of West Lake even more poetic. The next day, I took a cruise on the Fuchun River. Gazing at the vast expanse of the river, the distant scenery resembled a landscape painting rendered in ink wash. At that moment, I felt as if I possessed the grand spirit of a scholar or poet. Having experienced the beauty of Hangzhou in the spring when flowers were in full bloom, I thought that Jiangnan (the region south of the Yangtze River) was only worth visiting in spring. I never imagined that Hangzhou would have such a unique charm in winter. This city seems to have different faces in different seasons. A trip to Hangzhou in autumn would be a great travel plan. 🎗️Accommodation: Grand Hyatt Hangzhou West Lake Hotel. The rooms were elegant and comfortable. I booked a City View King Room🛏️, which is super spacious with a simple modern design that feels very comfortable. The bed’s firmness is just right, and after one night, I felt fully recharged 😴. The lounge by the window is perfect for lounging and enjoying the cityscape 🌆. The bathroom features a dry and wet separation design, with high-end scented toiletries 🧴, plus complimentary mineral water and snacks, showing great attention to detail ✨. The food at the hotel really suits my taste buds 😋. The buffet breakfast’s freshly baked bread and fried eggs smell amazing 🍳. You can customize your noodle bowl with toppings, and a hot bowl of soup noodles is so warming.
