I was honestly surprised at how beautiful the sea on the Japan Sea side of Tottori was! The clear tropical marine blue is comparable to the ocean of the tropics. The sunset over the ocean seen from Tottori Sand Dunes was magnificently beautiful, as if the sky, sand, and sea were one. With only the sound of the waves echoing against the sky that changed color from moment to moment, it felt like time was passing slowly. The crimson horizon and the silhouette of the vast sand dunes cannot be fully conveyed in a photograph; I was so moved that I simply stood there, captivated by the sight. It was a special moment where I could simultaneously feel the tranquility and power of nature.

There are not just sand dunes when you come to Tottori, there is already a lot of maritime entertainment on the Fuura coast alone. This time I spent HK$460 and I was able to canoe and snorkel there.
