The Kawaguchi Natural Park
#cherryblossom2024
Our escapade in Japan was undeniably remarkable, especially as we immersed ourselves in the lively city atmosphere and explored the captivating Kawaguchi Natural Park. The arrival of spring brought an extra touch of enchantment to the surroundings, and the peaceful landscapes encircling the shrine left us speechless. The magnificent vistas etched enduring memories in our minds that will remain with us forever.
Situated at the commencement of Saitama's segment of the prestigious 2020 Olympic torch relay, Kawaguchi Natural Park boasts a captivating monument that intrigues the senses: a colossal 2.6-ton cauldron meticulously crafted to cradle the Olympic flame during the illustrious 1964 Tokyo Games, only to be dismissed due to its failure to adhere to the stringent specifications. Initially perceived as a setback, this monumental structure has since evolved into a poignant emblem representing the rich industrial legacy of Kawaguchi. The grandeur of the rejected cauldron, with its imposing presence and intricate design, serves as a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the artisans who poured their hearts into its creation. Despite its initial rejection, the monument now stands as a reminder of the resilience and adaptability of Kawaguchi, transforming a moment of disappointment into a source of pride and historical significance.
As visitors gaze upon the towering cauldron in Kawaguchi Aoki Park, they are transported back in time to an era of ambition and innovation, where dreams of Olympic glory were intertwined with the spirit of progress and determination. The monument not only symbolizes the industrial prowess of the region but also serves as a poignant reminder that success often arises from setbacks, turning failures into opportunities for growth and reflection.
The lavish comfort and captivating beauty of this escape have etched a vivid memory in the depths of my mind. The immense pleasure of revisiting and immersing myself in every enchanting minute within this special sanctuary is unparalleled by any other experience.#familytrip

An interesting temple where you can experience quite a few different activities, one of which is seeking blessings in marriage and health. We enjoyed it a lot.
Good place to relax and take pictures as a tourist. Fish for a red snapper omikuji which costs 300 yen which contains a charm. The charm can be kept be kept as a souvenir.
Kawazu Zakura (Kawazucho) Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
📍Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival, Kawaguchi, Japan
Saw sakura for the first time in Japan was my finally checked bucket list. I was so happy and grateful to be there. I came here around March. It was so beautiful and it was just pink (my favorite color) everywhere🌸
Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival
The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is the earliest cherry blossom festival in Eastern Japan, usually blooming from early February to late February. It attracts about one million visitors each year. The petals of the Kawazu cherry blossoms are a vivid pink, making them perfect for photography. The festival route map extends from Kawazu Town to Mine Onsen, with about 800 Kawazu cherry trees lining both sides of the Aono River, creating a cherry blossom avenue approximately 4.2 kilometers long. Coupled with the yellow rapeseed flower fields along the embankments, it weaves a colorful tapestry of spring scenery. Along the way, there are many snack stalls, local crafts, and souvenirs, and at night, there are illumination events. There are also interesting rickshaw rides available for a unique flower-viewing experience.
A touch of pink 🌸 to brighten 🔆 your feed❤️

Address : 📍1 Chome-18 Narihira, Sumida City, Tokyo 130-0002, Japan 🇯🇵
This is the only place where the Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom and have a strong presence, so you can easily spot them ❤️.
You can take photos of the Sky Tree and cherry blossoms together, so there are quite a lot of people from late February to March 🔥. Recommended to go with close ones ⭐️
Kawazu Town Sakura Check-in Success Quiet Slow Life.
I made a special trip to Kawazu to check in with the cherry blossoms, and it was really beautiful.
Since I can only go to Japan in February and wanted to see cherry blossoms, I chose to go to Kawazu Town in Tokyo to see them.
Kawazu Town, located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, is famous for its beautiful cherry blossom spots.
The cherry blossom season in Kawazu Town is very enchanting, with the entire town blooming with a brilliant sea of flowers every year.
Having the opportunity to witness the cherry blossoms in Kawazu Town with my own eyes was a beautiful and unforgettable journey.
As soon as I stepped into this town, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of pink and white cherry blossoms everywhere. Walking under the cherry trees and watching the petals fall should give a sense of tranquility and romance.
In addition, Kawazu Town has some other tourist attractions, which I also successfully checked in.
I arrived in Kawazu Town during the cherry blossom season, just in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom. The entire town was surrounded by cherry trees, forming a brilliant sea of flowers. I strolled along the Kawazu River, enjoying the beautiful scene of falling petals, feeling as if I were in a fairy tale world~

Mount Fuji Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
In this lifetime, one must see the sea of clouds at Mount Fuji, which I visited three times in four months
After going to Japan, wouldn't you really want to see a sunrise at Mount Fuji?
As everyone knows, there are many spots to view Mount Fuji, and there are also many tourists.
Especially during holidays, it's so crowded that even the convenience stores announce they are drawing the curtains.
What many people don't know is that there are many hidden spots,
with few people and beautiful scenery for an exclusive view.

Mount Fuji after the rain is a stunning sight I've never seen before.
The mist gradually lets down its guard after the glow of dawn.
The hazy Mount Fuji slowly reveals itself,
making us who waited for two days tearfully happy.

👉Address: Hirano in Yamanakako at Mount Fuji, Japan
Spot 1️: The shore of Hirano in Yamanakako: Can capture the volcanic reflection + swans
Spot 2️: The boardwalk by the water in Yamanakako: Can capture the walkway, with lakeside rocks in the foreground
Spot 3: Nagasaki Park in Kawaguchiko, by the main road: Features a large cherry blossom tree in the foreground
⚠️Spot 1 and Spot 2 are both in the plains of Yamanakako, about a hundred meters apart, but Spot 1 is slowly becoming more known, while Spot 2 is less known and yields better photos.
—
👉Transportation:
1️】Take a highway bus from Shinjuku's express bus terminal in Tokyo to the plains of Yamanakako, about a 2.5-hour drive.
‼️Be sure to buy tickets in advance, as there may be none available on the spot
2️】Take a train from Tokyo to Otsuki, then transfer to the Fujikyu line to Kawaguchiko, and then take a bus from platform 6 for an hour to the plains of Yamanakako
‼️Suitable for those with uncertain departure times, but the downside is that transferring takes time and it's often crowded with no seats available
‼️Note the last bus time from Kawaguchiko to Yamanakako, as missing it means an 8000 yen taxi ride from Kawaguchiko to the plains
—
👉Accommodation:
1️】hanamizuki, stayed twice, clean, with communal baths and restrooms, includes breakfast, dinner can be booked, no air conditioning, tatami mats
2️】Gojuban Japanese-style hotel: clean, with communal baths and restrooms, does not include breakfast, no air conditioning, tatami mats
‼️Both of these are very close to the sunrise spot in the plains, a five-minute walk

Mount Fuji One-Day Tour for a Small Group of Nine
Just participated in a Mount Fuji one-day tour, circled around Mount Fuji for more than half a circle, and admired this iconic Japanese mountain at 5 locations. The overall experience is good, costing more than 500 RMB, and the return on investment is quite good. The car is a branded tour bus, a high-top Toyota Sea Lion, with nine seats. The seats are a bit tight and the comfort is a bit poor. Dined at the Hakkai scenic spot, Japanese set meal, averaging more than 2,000 yen per person, equivalent to more than 100 RMB, not bad.
