Here’s my itinerary: 1️⃣ Pokhara - Kushma - Banau - Haljure - Lespar, accommodation: Sunrise Homestay, transportation: bus, tricycle, jeep. 2️⃣ Lespar - Mohare Danda - Kokhe Danda, accommodation: AAPA Cottage. The pagoda itself is free (donations accepted), the Annapurna range front-on. I descended the back side to the Matee Ghar café terrace (not the Lakeside commercial strip — the family one halfway down the south slope): Nepali chiya 150 NPR, apple pie 300 NPR, sitting 200 m above the lake watching the cloud lift off Machhapuchhre. Back in Lakeside by 11:00, OR2K hummus plate 700 NPR for late breakfast. Mistake: I rowed back at 12:00 — the west wind kicks up, 650 NPR boat became a 30-min fight; cross early, climb 07:00–09:00. Another: the boatmen quote "1,000 NPR private" to tourists; insist on the 650/hr meter or share. Would you pay 650 NPR boat + climb the mossy 45-min forest to the Peace Pagoda for a 150 NPR chiya on the south-slope café terrace, or skip the crossing and café-hop Lakeside only?
