A classic go to hawker for Singaporeans
🍗 Changi Village Hawker Centre
📍2 Changi Village Rd, Singapore 500002
Famed for its nasi lemak, satay, fish soup and char kway teow to name a few, changi village hawker is a beloved staple hakwer for every singaporean.
Located right next to the changi point ferry terminal for a trip to pulau ubin and changi beach park for a nice stroll and play by the sea. The hawker is perfectly situated to cater to the masses going by.
Personally i have not unlocked and tried 100% of tbe stalls yet but im about 60% through. This time we tried jasons place chicken and king grouper fish soup as we wanted a hearty soup for the evening.
Both stalls delivered fantastic food and at amazing prices for hawkers too. Definitely would recommend to those who frequent changi village hawker but havent tried it yet.
Sedap!!!!

Changi Bay Park Connector Hike
The Changi Bay Park Connector is 3.6pm park connector that is worth a visit as it has a nice little bay and many different types of flora can be spotted along the way.
Nearest parking is at Changi Beach Park Carpark 7. The hike took me about 1.5 hours, at a very leisurely pace. Best to come either at sunrise or sunset for spectacular views. The route is largely unshaded so come prepared.
Bring enough water as nothing is sold along the way though vending machines are available at the carpark or at the lookout pavilion at the Bay. the vending machine at the lookout pavilion does not sell chilled drinks though. Do take note too.

Changi Village Nasi Lemak!
Address - Changi Village
2 Changi Village Rd, #01-03, Singapore 500002
Ambiance/Facilities - hawker centre
Highlights - this area is famous with its nasi lemak that people are queue-ing for! But each stall has their own style and taste. Be it from the fragrant rice, chicken, or the sambal. Got this from International Muslim Food Stall Nasi Lemak. Their rice is power, super fragrant and even their anchovies taste unique, crispy and sweet. Chicken wing? Crispy and well season! So yum!! Their sambal is also filled with onion, quite sweet but not so sweet. Worth to visit and try even if you are not around changi village.
Avg. Price per Person - $5

Changi Village, Singapore
Changi Village, a modern village located at the east side of Singapore. There’s a ferry terminal which serve as a connecting point for travellers going over to Pulau Ubin island or certain part of Malaysia by bumboat/ferry. Fishermen who live in the kelong will also use the jetty to come onto mainland. Changi Village is quite well known for local delicacies and a few resorts/hotel to cater for a getaway for many Singapore and tourist.
The Food:
There is a hawker centre right next to the bus terminals. One of the famous local delight is nasi lemak, a dish consists of rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf making it fragrant. It is usually served with fried chicken, fried egg, small fried anchovies (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts, fresh cucumber slices and sambal chili.
Many singaporean living nearby would go to Changi Village for drinks in the evening. There are also many coffeeshops nearby serving great variety of food.
The Scene:
There is a bridge to Changi Beach Park, many families gather over the weekend for picnic and other recreation sports such as cycling and rollerblading. There is also a 2.2km boardwalk that runs along the coastline offering you a panoramic views of Changi beach, you will be in for a scenic stroll. Best to have a view of the sunset.
Getting there:
1. Take the MRT Green Line to Tanah Merah Station (EW4). Exit via B and take Bus 2.
2. Take the MRT Green Line to Tampines Station (EW2), walk to the bus interchange and take Bus 29.

Changi Point
I enjoy fishing in Singapore, during free time I will invite my angler friend to charter a boat and go Changi fishing. The boat can usually charter up to 5 pax, and each boat costs a minimum of $400. The boat man will first drop us at the nearby kelong to buy the live prawn as bait, and we are ready to go.
A day fishing is start at 8am and usually ends around 5pm. after that we will bring the fishes we caught to the nearby restaurant for cooking, fresh and wild catch! my favourite cooking style are teochew steamed fish and fried grouper, the meat are so juicy and yummy! once you taste it, you will love it!

Looking for some really good local Singapore food? Head all the way to the east of Singapore located at Changi village where there is a hawker centre which serves really good nasi lemak, fried bananas, traditional Singapore dessert at a very cost friendly wallet price.
Although located all the way in the east, they do have a bus terminal right beside the hawker which helps in transportation.
Trust me, the fried chicken here is a must have!

Idyllic Swim in Rustic Changi
The swimming pool at Changi Civil Service Club is one of the best in Singapore and my favorite. Nestled in rustic and quiet Changi Village road, the swimming pools at CSC brings one overseas virtually. Yes, you would not be the only one to think you are at one of the beach resort abroad .
The infinity pool overlooks the sea and you can see ships and planes at every few minutes. The tree leaves sashayed with the breeze. They children pool is equiped with water playground so little ones can have a great time. The jacuzzi pool massages your back and foot and it was so relaxing.
After the swim, walk over to the famous Changi Village food centre to take your pick of the numerous renowned food there - nasi lemak, Ipoh hor fun, satay etc..
What else can one ask for ?

Chill at Bike Cafe
Fancy Bikes? Ice Cream? Gelato? Pastries? Coffee?
Consider dropping by Ciclo de Caffe anytime of the day to satisfy your cravings. Gelato comes in different flavours - from the standard chocolate to exotic ones like soursoap.
Definitely a place recommended for chilling out with friends, colleagues or family after a walk near Changi beach, Pulau Ubin or a meal at Changi Village.
Good for photo shots as well. They do provide photo taking opportunities with the wide range of bike and bike parts available - which would please both bike and photo lovers.
Place is small and cosy with friendly owner and staff.

Changi City Point is a modern style mall with futuristic design. This place is very close to Changi Airport with lots of restaurants, shops and close to the Expo exhibition hall. There are also factory outlets here to look at. #wintergetaway
