There's no need to drive all the way to Mid Valley and spend extra on petrol, toll, and parking when you can get such fantastic rates here. I also noticed their Google reviews consistently hold a 5-star rating compared to many other places, and after visiting, I can see why. Great rates, reliable service, and a very professional team. The customer service is exceptional—friendly, efficient, and helpful even during busy times. The entire process was smooth, and everything was managed professionally. My only slight suggestion would be to consider adding another staff member during peak hours, as it would help keep things even smoother and quicker given the consistently strong customer queue. Even though I was staying in the same building, I never noticed it until I searched Google for "what to eat nearby." That search led me to Wong Shi Fu Taiwan Dumpling, and I'm glad it did. If you're a dumpling lover, this underrated spot is worth discovering. They serve authentic Taiwanese-style dumplings with juicy fillings, a soft yet chewy wrapper, and comforting flavours that make dumplings the star of the meal rather than just a side dish. It's one of those places that doesn't rely on flashy signboards or a prime location. Instead, it wins you over with quality food and reasonable prices. Worth it? Absolutely. Sometimes the best meals are found in the places you least expect. So if you're around Petaling Jaya or staying nearby, don't let this hidden location fool you—it's a dumpling spot worth seeking out.

The itinerary is as follows: Day 1️⃣ Pick up the car at LA airport 🚗 Register as a gold member with Hertz China in advance for a 10% discount. For LA accommodation, it’s recommended to stay a bit farther from downtown. Pasadena and Alhambra are both good choices. Choose a safe neighborhood with a garage to prevent car break-ins. Day 2️⃣ South Palm Drive on Palm Avenue – shopping in Beverly Hills – Santa Monica 🌊 – Sunset Boulevard 7011 Vista Del Mar Ln Day 3️⃣ Hollywood & Griffith Observatory day tour Day 4️⃣ LA to Sequoia National Park 🌲 (4h) – stay in Fresno No signal inside the national park, so remember to download offline maps on Google Maps beforehand. Route: Sequoia Museum – Big Tree Trail (easy walk) – Tunnel Log – General Sherman Tree. I was worried about time, but five hours was enough to visit these famous viewpoints. Stay in Fresno that night. The next day, Yosemite is a short drive away. Day 5️⃣ Fresno to Yosemite ⛰️ – stay in Groveland Yosemite route: Glacier Point – Tunnel View – Bridal Veil Fall – Yosemite Fall – El Capitan. We were especially lucky to see a 🐻 that day. Day 6️⃣ Groveland to San Jose Say goodbye to the mountains and head to Silicon Valley in California. Visited Apple and Google headquarters, and Stanford. Day 7️⃣ Round trip from San Jose to San Francisco 🌁 San Francisco highlights: Lombard Street, Fisherman’s Wharf Pier, classic Golden Gate Bridge viewpoints Day 8️⃣ Officially start Highway 1 🚗 Depart from San Jose, stay in Monterey. Checked out Black Gold McDonald’s, then went to Carmel for food and shopping. Carmel town is very beautiful. Day 9️⃣ Monterey to Santa Barbara Many unbeatable ocean view viewpoints along the way, stopping frequently. Day 🔟 Santa Barbara to LA Strolled and had lunch in Santa Barbara during the day, then returned to LA in the afternoon. The drive was beautiful. Day 1️⃣1️⃣ Relax and unwind day in Irvine 🌿 Spent the whole day slowly exploring and relaxing in Irvine, shopping and visiting the beach Day 1️⃣2️⃣ Desert outlet shopping 🛍️

Day 4 in order. Today is the day to drive to San Diego, which is also the southernmost section of Highway 101 on the West Coast. The coast is very beautiful. We stopped at Laguna Beach along the way to check in. It has a strong Mediterranean vibe, with very clean beaches and various Latin-style coffee shops and historic buildings. Arrived in San Diego and checked in at the Westin hotel in the city center. The hotel has great decor and a convenient location, just an 8-minute walk to the beach, right next to Midway. The hotel offers a complimentary one-hour boat tour. The Starbucks in the hotel lobby is also very convenient and serves food and drinks until late. I heard San Diego isn’t very safe at night, so we rested early and had Mexican tacos. Day 5, after touring San Diego, we took a noon Southwest Airlines flight to Las Vegas, the legendary city in the desert. The surface temperature was 42 degrees, but it was dry, so the heat was not uncomfortable and helped eliminate some internal moisture. Checked in at the Venetian Resort, where you can basically spend half a day just at the hotel, exploring the Grand Canal Shoppes. At night, we also checked out the nearby Sphere arena. Day 6, we booked a trip to Antelope Canyon, a 12-hour day tour arranged by the travel agency. The bus was very comfortable. There was a 2.5-hour stop at a supermarket for rest and hydration. The 5-hour one-way trip was not boring. The guide was excellent and we gave a $20 tip at the end. There are many national parks worth visiting in the Las Vegas desert. I think Antelope Canyon is highly recommended. I’ve been twice and still find it very rewarding. The local guide’s recommendations always teach me something new. Day 7, we continued to stroll around Las Vegas. The day was planned for visiting various shopping malls and outlet shopping. We also tried the famous 24-hour land, sea, and air buffet. It’s low season in July, and the Venetian Resort was the cheapest hotel we stayed at among all cities, so staying at a super-star hotel in Las Vegas now is very cost-effective. Days 8–10 San Francisco + Silicon Valley. Days 11–14 Seattle and surrounding areas. We had a visa-free transit stay in Seoul for one day and took the chance to check out Seoul. The next update will cover San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Silicon Valley, Stanford, Apple Park, Google, Mountain View, Chinatown, Seattle’s Rainier, Boeing factory, Space Needle and glass museum, waterfront, and the return flight on Korean Air’s 787 Dreamliner to Seoul. Google Campus is Google's headquarters and can be called the symbol of Silicon Valley.
