Exploring the Serenity and Beauty of Jinshan
Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, China, is a beautiful and serene temple complex that offers visitors a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The temple is located on a hill overlooking the city, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
One of the most impressive features of Jinshan Temple is its architecture, which is a blend of traditional Chinese and Buddhist styles. The temple's buildings are adorned with intricate carvings and decorations, showcasing the incredible skill of the artisans who created them.
Visitors to Jinshan Temple can explore the many halls and pavilions, each of which houses beautiful statues, paintings, and artifacts. The temple also features a beautiful garden with rock formations, ponds, and bridges, offering a tranquil setting for meditation and reflection.
One of the most popular activities at Jinshan Temple is hiking up to the top of the hill to enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the Yangtze River. 1 day trip in Zhenjiang? A temple to go
The Jinshan Temple is a popular Buddhist temple attraction in Zhenjiang. If you are fan of Chinese architecture and ancient culture, this is the right place to go.
This temple was initially established in Eastern Jin dynasty (323-325 BC), later became a Taoist temple. Fomerly known as Longyou Temple, became Jinshan Temple during Yuan dynasty. This temple was classified as national key Buddhist temple in 1983.
This temple presents an architectural complex of buildings, halls towers and the special 36m octagonal Cishou Pagoda in the top of the hill. The view from the summit is magnificent. Might be difficult for some people to reach til the summit of the hill, nevertheless the beautiful lake in the base of the temple presents an additional opportunity for a joyful walk.

My trip to Zhenjiang, want to hear my thoughts?
I absolutely adore Zhenjiang. It's a city brimming with the warmth of everyday life, where a steaming bowl of 'guogai mian' on the street corner can instantly make you feel at home. Jinshan Temple is the legendary battleground where the White Snake spirit and Monk Fahai had their magical duel, and it's also the site where the 'Water Submerges Jinshan' legend took place. The casual sight of cats around the city also adds to the relaxed vibe. Spring in Zhenjiang has a lot to offer; taking in the green hills and clear waters, experiencing the local customs, and indulging in the unique cuisine can all help ease one's stress. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation. Here, you won't find the hustle and bustle of big cities. The local people are genuine and the slow pace of life is so enchanting that it makes you want to stay forever. I'll definitely take another trip if I get the chance.

Jinshan Temple
Jinshan is located to the northwest of Zhenjiang city, with an elevation of 43.7 meters and covers an area of 41.6 hectares. The scenery of Jinshan is secluded and naturally beautiful, and it has been one of China's famous tourist destinations since ancient times. In ancient times, Jinshan was an island standing in the middle of the Yangtze River, known as 'a beautiful lotus flower in the heart of the river'. Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Hu described it as 'tree shadows seen in the flowing water, bell sounds heard from both banks'. Northern Song Dynasty scholar Shen Kuo praised it saying, 'Pavilions and towers on both banks connect with the water, north and south of the river reflect the sky in the mirror.' Originally an island in the Yangtze River, due to the 'eastward flow of the great river', by around the end of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1903), it became connected to the mainland.

An underrated treasure city (Zhenjiang, where Bai Suzhen was suppressed by Fahai)
Compared to the bustling Yangzhou in the fireworks-laden March, the small town of Zhenjiang across the river has its unique "flavor".
A historic street, traces of a thousand years, this is the "Manyan Fengguang Beigu Tower" where Xin Qiji climbed high and reminisced about the past, and the "Spring River is again green on the south bank of the river" where Wang Anshi felt homesick and restless day and night. This small town has inadvertently left behind many historical and cultural relics.
📍 Travel Guide:
1⃣: Jinshan Temple - Beigu Mountain - Jiaoshan - Xijin Ferry
2⃣: Nanshan
💖 Touring Tips:
Check out Zhenjiang's famous "Three Mountains and One Ferry" Jinshan, Beigu Mountain, Jiaoshan
🚩 Jinshan
The main attraction is Jinshan Temple, the filming location of 'The Legend of White Snake', with many classic scenes from TV dramas. Climbing along the trail to the top, you can overlook the entire Jinshan Temple.
🚩 Beigu Mountain
Ganlu Temple on Beigu Mountain is the same Ganlu Temple where Liu Bei sought a marriage alliance, and the Ganlu Temple dock is an excellent spot to watch the sunset.
🚩 Jiaoshan
It is also the only island in the Yangtze River surrounded by water on all sides, offering tourists a view. Climbing it is more difficult compared to Beigu Mountain.

🌈D1: Hangzhou — Yong'an Fish House — Night Tour of Xijindu

🌈D2: Yong'an Road Market — Jinshan Temple — Beigushan — Yangzhou
- -Take a leisurely breakfast at Yong'an Road Market in the morning, a short street with average food like shaomai and mianmian cake❗️Yangda yogurt is not cheap, personally like the jasmine flavor🍵
- -Check in at Jinshan Temple with the same spot as the White Lady, very crowded! Had pot lid noodles and cured meat for lunch not far from Jinshan Temple
- -After a nap, climbed Beigushan to see the scenery of the Yangtze River🏔, the climb was really tiring, no more energy to go to Jiaoshan
- -Had dinner in Yangzhou at Da Mao Huaiyang market stall, delicious dishes like chive kidney flowers, stinky intestines, and garlic vermicelli shrimp, but the queue was a bit long

Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang
Jinshan Temple: Located at No. 62 Jinshan Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, the temple was originally established during the Jin Dynasty. It is a key national cultural relic protection unit, a key temple in Han Chinese areas, and a famous national tourist attraction.

Jinshan Temple
Jinshan Temple has been destroyed and rebuilt seven times in history. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, a high monk named Pei Toutuo, who is the famous monk Fahai, came to the temple.
In the third year of the Dazhong era of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (849 AD), the prince was suffering from a serious illness that could not be cured by medicine. Pei Xiu, the prime minister at that time, donated funds to build the Mi Yin Temple (located within the territory of Ningxiang County, Hunan Province), and sent his own son Pei Wende to become a monk in place of the prince to practice and dispel the disaster. Pei Wende became a disciple under the founder of the Zen Weiyang sect and the abbot of Mi Yin Temple, Master Lingyu, who gave Pei Wende the Dharma name 'Fahai'.
Later, Master Fahai traveled around the world and came to a desolate forest on Mount Fu in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, where he practiced Zen meditation. The local believers told Fahai that this place was once the ancient Ze Xin Temple from the Jin Dynasty. Fahai found the remnants of Buddha statues in the desolate forest, felt a spiritual response, and vowed in front of the Buddha to restore the ancient temple by burning a section of his finger as a pledge.
While opening the mountain and digging fields, Fahai accidentally unearthed a batch of gold and handed it over to the then governor of Runzhou, Li Qi. Li Qi reported this to Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. Emperor Xuanzong was deeply moved and decreed that the gold be given directly to Fahai as an imperial provision for the construction of the temple, and ordered the Ze Xin Temple to be renamed 'Jinshan Temple'. Fahai was honored as the 'founding patriarch Pei' of Jinshan Temple.

The Vinegar Exploration Journey | A day trip to Zhenjiang was so much fun
A day trip to Zhenjiang was really enjoyable. Nanjing has been known as a beautiful city, but it wasn't until I set foot in Zhenjiang that I discovered an even more picturesque place! Climbing high for a broad view, tasting delicious food, appreciating beautiful scenery, a main mission about special forces travel made me fall deeply in love with 'Vinegar Capital' Zhenjiang. This trip was so worthwhile! 🌟
📅 Itinerary:

🏠 Accommodation:
Choosing to stay near Xijindu not only is close to the train station but also makes it very convenient to visit various attractions!
🚌 Transportation:
Although Zhenjiang is not large and the attractions are concentrated, there is no subway. However, taking a taxi or a bus is quite convenient~
📍 Vinegar Culture Museum (1 hour)
Ticket price: 19 yuan
This place is simply a paradise for vinegar lovers! I've already sent two large boxes of fragrant vinegar and vinegar candy back home! Came here for the vinegar ice cream! The soy sauce cheese flavor is really delicious! Zhenjiang vinegar is probably the only thing that can unify the taste buds of Jiangsu!
📍 Jingshan (2 hours)
Ticket price: 45 yuan
The legendary place where the water flooded Jingshan in the White Snake legend! The filming location of the TV series is right here! The ancient temple with yellow walls and black tiles, the bright yellow temple walls, are very photogenic. It is recommended to go around 4 pm, the sunset scenery is breathtaking~
📍 Yong'an Fish Restaurant
Average consumption 60 yuan
This is a local time-honored chain restaurant! Really worth the taste! There are 7 stores, and you can't go wrong with any of them! The owners are all from Zhenjiang, featuring local Zhenjiang cuisine! Touched a pufferfish for the first time, so cute! The fish is fresh and tender, full of collagen flavor, the braised pork is sweet but not greasy, very good with rice! The meatballs are also fragrant! The specialty dishes are all delicious!
📍 Xijindu (2 hours)
No admission fee
This place is really worth a visit! The scenery during the day and night is unique! The historical sites are well preserved, and the streets are quaint and charming! Wearing a new Chinese-style cheongsam for photos, the effect is amazing! Also tried the pot cover noodles!
📍 Yong'an Market (0.5 hours)
Lost in a variety of snacks and can't extricate myself... It's too good to stroll around!
Pork loin skewers, rice cakes, salted egg yolk pork floss baked buns, rice cakes, Yangzhou yogurt... all kinds of treasure shops! Simply can't finish eating!
🖇️ The museum, consulate, and Xijindu are all in one place, suitable for a walk after a meal. If there's time, you can stroll around City Walk together!
The pace of life in Zhenjiang is leisurely, and the cost of living is low! It's quite interesting to spend a day wandering around! If I have the chance, I will come back to play again! 🌿🍜📸

Zhenjiang Impressions
My first visit to Zhenjiang was a tightly scheduled 3-day trip.
✅'Three Mountains and One Ferry' (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, Beigushan, Xijindu), to enjoy the poetic scenery and pursue legends.
✅Zhenjiang Museum, spanning 3000 years of history, allows you to feel the atmosphere of a national historical and cultural city.
✅In the autumn streets, the fragrance of osmanthus is everywhere; in the quiet morning markets, a delicate mist lingers.
✅A big bowl of steaming pot cover noodles is a must-try delicacy, suitable for both meat-eaters and vegetarians, and enjoyed by all ages. (The popular 'Dahua Noodle House' is very down-to-earth)
✅The city is not large, there are not many buses and the intervals are long, so taking a taxi is more convenient for longer distances, while sharing a bike or walking is suitable for shorter distances.

You are being foolish for not promoting this place in Jiangsu
Compared to the fireworks in March in Yangzhou, this small town of Zhenjiang across the river has its unique 'flavor'. A historic street, traces of a thousand years of history, this is where Xin Qiji once climbed high and reminisced about the past at 'Beigu Tower with a view full of landscapes', and where Wang Anshi felt homesick and restless at 'the green riverbanks of the south in spring'. This small town has inadvertently left behind many historical and cultural relics. It truly is an underestimated treasure city~

Zhenjiang Jinshan Temple| Fahai, you don't understand love?
| Fahai, you don't understand love? .🏯Coming down from Beigushan, heading to the Yangtze River on the west side of Jinshan. The most impressive thing about Jinshan is of course Jinshan Temple and Fahai, which comes from the mythological story of The Legend of the White Snake. But legends are after all legends, the real Jinshan is not the same as imagined.
✔️The pagoda of Jinshan Temple can be said to be the symbol of Jinshan, which can be seen from a distance. The evening sun has plated the pagoda with a layer of golden light, which is even more brilliant. After entering the gate, the first thing that attracts is a scenery on the left fork, which is Furong Tower and the so-called world's first spring, Zhongling Spring.
✔️At the foot of Jinshan is a large lake, named Jinshan Lake, which is obviously left after the Yangtze River changed its course. Furong Tower is located at a corner of the west side of Jinshan Lake. Standing on the lakeside, you can see the golden pagoda on Jinshan. Arriving at the mountain gate of Jinshan Temple, you can see the plaque 'Jiangtian Zen Temple' hanging above the archway. The archway and the Hall of Heavenly Kings behind it are almost next to each other. The sign of the national key cultural relics protection unit on the side of the door of the Hall of Heavenly Kings reads 'Jinshan Jiangtian Zen Temple', and on the other side there is a sign 'Water and Land Dharma Assembly Ancestral Court', which reads 'Jinshan Temple'. In addition, the wall also has four big characters 'Eastern Jin Ancient Temple'.
✔️Originally, this temple was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, named Zexin Temple and Longyou Temple. It was called Jinshan Temple in the Southern Dynasty and the early Tang Dynasty. The plaque 'Jiangtian Zen Temple' was personally written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The temple is built according to the mountain, and further up are the Great Hall and the Sutra Depository, and there are also the ancient Fahai Cave and Cishou Tower. Cishou Tower is the towering pagoda that you can see from a distance.
✔️In mythological legends, Fahai always targets the White Lady, so it gives people a bad impression, but the real Fahai is not like this. Fahai's secular surname is Pei, the son of Tang Dynasty prime minister Pei Xiu. Because he was a vegetarian when he was born, his father believed in Buddhism and sent him to Heze Temple in Henan to become a monk, named Fahai. Fahai came to Jinshan, found a cave to meditate and meditate, and burned a section of his finger, swearing to revive the temple. It is said that one day he dug up a lot of gold on the river bank and reported it to the government. The emperor knew about it and ordered the gold to be given to Fahai to build a temple. After the temple was built, it was named Jinshan Temple, and Fahai disappeared.
✔️Jinshan is not more than a hundred meters high, and it quickly climbed to the top of the mountain. The setting sun sets, shining on the layered palaces below, shining brightly. The sea has changed into mulberry fields, the river has changed its course, and only the wide Jinshan Lake is left under the mountain. The Yangtze River in the distance has been blocked by trees and houses, and it is hard to see clearly. You can only see the bridge that is higher than the river surface.
✔️There is a monument pavilion on the top of the mountain, under which there is a stone tablet with the words 'Jiangtian Overview', which is the imperial pen when Emperor Kangxi toured the south. Coming down the mountain, at this time the tourists have basically dispersed, looking for a quiet place to rest, enjoying this rare tranquility.
📍Address: Jinshan Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang
👍🏻Recommendation: Jiangtian Zen Temple, Fahai Cave, Cishou Tower, Jiangtian Overview Monument
💰Cost: Ticket 50 yuan

One of the four famous temples in China|Jinshan Temple (1425)
|Jinshan Temple (1425). Jinshan Temple, located at No. 62 Jinshan Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and was named "Zexin Temple". It was named "Jinshan Temple" in the Tang Dynasty, "Longyou Temple" in the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, and "Jiangtian Zen Temple" in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a famous Zen temple in Chinese Buddhism. The Jinshan Temple in the folk tale "Legend of the White Snake" refers to this. It is listed as one of the four famous temples in China along with Putuo Temple, Wenshu Temple, and Daming Temple.
Jinshan Temple breaks the layout of the temple facing south from the north and is divided into three roads. It is built according to the mountain, with the main gate opening to the west, facing the river, and various buildings are scattered on it, with a unique style.
In 1983, Jinshan Temple was designated as a key temple in the Han area nationwide.

What does the real Fahai look like? He doesn't know Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian
What does the real Fahai look like? He doesn't know Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian, and his powerful background is unbelievable! Curious friends might ask, why would you say that? With these questions and curiosity, today we will talk about the things about Zhenjiang Jinshan Temple. Jinshan Temple, also known as Jiangtian Zen Temple, is located on Jinshan Mountain with an altitude of 43.7 meters in the northwest of Zhenjiang City. This is the main attraction of Jinshan, only 3 kilometers away from the center of Zhenjiang City. The original temple and Jinshan were both in the center of the Yangtze River, and later the Yangtze River moved north. At the end of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was connected to the land on the south side along with Jinshan. Jinshan Temple was built during the Daxing period of Emperor Yuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (about 320 AD), and Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty presided over the water and land law meeting here in the fourth year of Tianjian of the Liang Dynasty (505 AD), so Jinshan Temple became the birthplace of the water and land law meeting. The temple's halls and pavilions are all built according to the mountain. Looking at Jinshan from a distance, you can only see the temple but not the mountain. There is a saying that 'Jinshan Temple wraps the mountain'. Not only that, but what is particularly worth mentioning is that Jinshan Temple attracts people with many folk stories. Among them, Bai Suzhen's water flooding Jinshan happened here.

Calligraphy Inscriptions of Jingshan Temple (1415)
Jingshan Temple (1415). The calligraphy inscriptions of Jingshan Temple, also known as Jiangtian Zen Temple in Zhenjiang, is built against the mountain and dominates the south bank of the Yangtze River.
As a millennium-old temple, it has been passed down through generations, attracting countless literati and poets who either compose poems or write couplets, leaving many calligraphy inscriptions, adding ancient relics to Jingshan Temple.

Fragrance of osmanthus fills the air at Jinshan Temple
Jinshan Temple is located at No. 62 Jinshan Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It was named 'Zexin Temple' in the Tang Dynasty, 'Longyou Temple' in the Northern Song Dynasty, and 'Jiangtian Zen Temple' in the Qing Dynasty.
It was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and is a famous temple of Zen Buddhism in China. It is said to be the Jinshan Temple in the folk tale 'Legend of the White Snake', and it is listed as one of the four famous temples in China along with Putuo Temple, Wenshu Temple, and Daming Temple. Jinshan Temple breaks the layout of the temple facing south, divided into three roads, according to the mountain, the gate opens to the west, facing the river, various buildings are scattered on it, the style is unique.
In 1983, Jinshan Temple was designated as a national key temple in the Han area.
The architectural layout of Jinshan Temple breaks the architectural tradition of most temples in China facing south and divided into three roads. Instead, it is built according to the mountain, the gate opens to the west, facing the Yangtze River, and all the halls and pavilions in the temple are scattered on it. The main ones are the Great Hall of the Buddha, the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Kalan Hall, the Ancestor Hall, the Painting Tower, the Zhenjiang Tower, the Guanlan Hall, the Yongan Hall, the Haiyue Tower, etc. The temple is built according to the mountain, and the buildings such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Great Hall of the Buddha, the Sutra Tower, the Buddha Recitation Hall, the Lodging Place, and the Abbot's Room are cleverly connected through corridors, eaves, and stone steps, forming a layout of buildings on buildings, pavilions outside buildings, and pavilions in pavilions. The Seven Peaks, Miaogao Terrace, Lengjia Terrace, etc. are connected to the mountainside; Liuyu Pavilion, Large and Small Guanyin Pavilion surround the top of the mountain; Cishou Pagoda, Jiangtian Overview Pavilion stand upside down on the top of the mountain. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, you can only see houses, not mountains. Jinshan has thus gained the title of 'Mountain in the Temple'.
Jinshan Temple is the orthodox of Zen Buddhism, and Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang faces west, facing the Western Paradise.

A complete guide to eating and sightseeing in Zhenjiang, a low-key hidden gem of a city
Recently, I watched the play 'Green Snake' and while admiring the deep acting skills of the actors, I was reminded once again of 'Water Overflows Golden Mountain', with Jingshan Temple located over 200 miles away from Leifeng Tower in Hangzhou. Speaking of Zhenjiang, one cannot help but mention the previously popular 'Lifetime', the gentle Professor Zhou Sheng, and the old house of King Zhou Shengchen who was drunk on the beach of white bones.
I visited Zhenjiang once in 2018 and was very impressed. I felt that this should be the place where ancient literati and scholars would choose to live in seclusion. Walking on the streets, I felt a strong sense of antiquity. This year, I revisited the old place, and it felt more like meeting an old friend. Although we haven't seen each other for many years, our feelings are still the same.
📍The attractions in Zhenjiang are very concentrated. If you are staying overnight, it is recommended to stay near Xijin Ferry or Zhongshan Road near the train station, which is very convenient for taking a taxi.
✔️Recommended one-day tour route: Jingshan - Dashikou - Ganlu Temple - Beigu Mountain - Xijin Ferry Ancient Street
✅ What is 'Jingkou Three Mountains':
The 'Three Mountains' refer to Jingshan, Jiaoshan, and Beigu Mountain. Each of the 'Three Mountains' has its own folk tales. If you only have one day, then visit one of the three mountains to get a feel for it.
1️⃣Jingshan: 'White Lady Water Overflows Golden Mountain' made Jingshan famous. It is recommended to come early in the morning to experience the perfect combination of temple and mountain, with the Bodhisattva's eyebrows lowered and the Vajra's eyes angry.
2️⃣Jiaoshan: Visit the Jiaoshan Stele Forest and cliff carvings.
3️⃣Beigu Mountain: The Ganlu Temple where 'Liu Bei's Marriage' is located is here. Xin Qiji expressed his heroic feelings in Beigu Pavilion, 'Where to look at Shenzhou, full of scenery Beigu Building. How many things have risen and fallen over the ages, long and long. The endless rolling Yangtze River does not end.' Beigu Mountain has always been known as 'the first Jiangshan in the world', and the history of Beigu Building has changed, but the rolling river in front of you is an unchanging memory.
🌟Attractions:
Don't look at Zhenjiang's low-key, but it has a long history and culture. In addition to the 'Three Mountains', there is also 'One Ferry', which is not far away.
1️⃣Xijin Ferry Ancient Street: It is recommended to come to Xijin Ferry to stroll and take pictures in the afternoon. When the sun sets, take a walk, watch the sun slowly set, stand on it, watch the lights light up layer by layer, it is shocking and moving. There are also many restaurants and small shops here, you can stroll around slowly.
2️⃣Dashikou: Feel the leisure and comfort of the local residents, go to eat a bowl of local pot lid noodles, and experience the authentic snacks in the Yong'an Road food market.
3️⃣Zhenjiang Museum: Make an appointment in advance, the original body is the old site of the British Consulate in Zhenjiang, with rich collections.
🌟Delicacies:
1️⃣Pot lid noodles: A must-eat specialty in Zhenjiang, remember to order a portion of cured meat, paired with fragrant vinegar, the noodles are chewy, take a bite, the fatigue of the early morning disappears immediately, recommend Shao Xingshun old brand, 18 years of dining in this year's takeaway are very stable and delicious.
2️⃣Yong'an Fish Restaurant: Zhenjiang cuisine, mainly to eat puffer fish, can take a group photo. The braised puffer fish is delicious, the meat is delicate and smooth, highly recommended!
3️⃣Zhou's Second Miss's Dishes: The first time I came to eat, I was amazed, so much so that I recommend it to friends who go to Zhenjiang. But this time I came to Xijin Ferry to eat, I don't know if the quality has declined or the season is wrong, it's not as good as before.

I have traveled to Jinshan Temple many years ago, and now I have almost no impression. I vaguely remember to take pictures, and I dont know where to go. I am now in Jinshan Temple, the incense is still lingering, and the tourists are endless.
Jinshan Temple is not a general temple pattern. The temple facade is located in the Yangtze River, the temple and the pavilion, and is built in the middle of the mountain. It has the reputation of Jiangzhong Furong. Along the steps, the gates are majestic and quiet. We are trying to find the legend of the water-filled Jinshan in the "White Snake Biography", and the black clouds outline the beautiful love picture of Bai Niangzi and Xu Xian. The Temple of Heavenly Kings of Maitreya was guarded by the four King Kongs. When you stepped out of the threshold, you will see the Great Hall of the Kings. In the middle is the Buddha of Sakyamuni, the Pharmacist Buddha, and the Amitabha. On both sides, there are fifty-six sons of different forms to worship Buddha. The color of the corridor is mainly blue and green. The sacred traces of the ancient temples in the middle of the river lead to countless people's piety towards Buddhism. The rain washes the hearts of every person, and makes the heart full of calm, optimism, open-mindedness, non-indifferent and unambiguous, non-quiet and far-reaching. Appropriateness is the attitude and way of life pursued by mortals.
