Nanjing pedestrian street is a popular destination with lots of tourists ,street foods 🍔🥓🍗🥟🍿🍝and stores. I bought lamp chop for 20 RMB 💰which was quite affordable.Several hotels are in the vicinity. The M&m chocolate factory is located on this street as well as an English bookstore . The Yu garden 🏡is also just a few kilometers away. You can see the bund building from the street. The place is always bustling with people and there are a lot of interesting sights along the street. You can take a walk and explore the night🌃 life of Shanghai . #shanghai #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog #nanjingstreet #explorer

Shanghai’s Busiest Walking Street
Welcome to Shanghai! 🏙️
This city is absolutely amazing and there’s always something to do.
Shanghai’s famous Nanjing walking street leads you all the way to The Bund. There are plenty of shops and side streets with tons of street vendors.
⏰ Recommended time: 2 hours at night. It does get really busy, but it’s part of the experience.

Nanjing Road Everyone know this Street
Anyone who has been to Shanghai should know this road
Although it is a landmark attraction in Shanghai, more Shanghainese will choose Huaihai Middle Road,
However, this does not hinder the prosperity of Nanjing Road, which is reminiscent of Orchard Road in Singapore.
You can go to there every night, but it is not suitable to go on holidays, there are too many people
Getting There - Walking
Attractions - shopping
Hotels - none
Food & Restaurants - none
Shopping - too many

Experience day and night at this road
China's premier shopping street, the 5.5-km-long (3.4-mile-long) Nanjing Road, starts at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jing'an Temple and West Yan'an Street. Today it is a must-see metropolitan destination attracting thousands of fashion-seeking shoppers from all over the world.
When night falls, the whole road is lit up.
Flashing neon signs illuminate the magnificent buildings and spangle the night skyline of this lively city. Open-air bars, abstract sculptures, and lingering sounds from street musicians enhance night strolls. Come again in the day time to see the empty vast street.

If you want to find somewhere to stroll in Shanghai at night other than The Bund, I strongly recommend you to go to Nanjing Road.
Nanjing Road is a road in Shanghai, the eastern part of which is the main shopping district of Shanghai. It is one of the world's busiest shopping streets, along with Fifth Avenue, Oxford Street, Orchard Road, Takeshita Street and the Champs-Élysées.
The reason I recommended to come here at night is because of the magnificent lightings from the buildings. You will surely admire the scene.
Nanjing Road has a length of 5.5 kilometres and was constructed in 1854.

Nankin Street in Shanghai
Nankin Street is a central street in Shanghai and a main sightseeing for tourists from all around the world. Some calculations say that 1 million people pass through it every day. Probably it’s the most crowded streets in the city and the best place for shopping, according to the tourists’ points of view.
Beside modern and luxury stores you can find here very old buildings with a history. For example 4 floors store with Chinese herbs, opened in 1882.
It’s very easy to find it because it’s located in downtown. The street is very long. So, you will not be bored to walk all around. It’s a good way to spend a couple of hours of your trip for shopping (for people who love it) or just for observing the architecture of that place.

Shanghai’s must-see Nanjing Road
If you plan to visit Shanghai, you most definitely should visit Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
I personally love walking along Nanjing Pedestrian Street every time I visit Shanghai.
Nanjing Road itself is very long, there is West Nanjing Road and East Nanjing Road.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is located along East Nanjing Road.
🚈 Getting There - I recommend taking the metro to People’s Square and start walking from there instead of getting off at East Nanjing Station because East Nanjing Station is located at the end of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.
🏨 Hotels - I recommend staying at a 5-star hotel The Shanghai EDITION, it is located at East Nanjing Road which means you have direct access to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street as well as The Bund. You can also stay at a 4-star Conrad Hotel (Former Le Meridien Hotel), it is located right next to East Nanjing Road and People’s Square.
🛍 Shopping - Nanjing Pedestrian Street is a shopping paradise, because it is a shopping street that offers both affordable and luxury brands.
If you start walking at People’s Square along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street you’ll eventually reach The Bund, a beautiful riverside that offers a breathtaking view of Shanghai’s Pudong Skyline.
Enjoy your trip to Shanghai and have a great time shopping at Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street 😊

This location is known as the Shanghai Nanjing street located in the central part of Shanghai. the location of this street is really tourist friendly. a walk-in distance from the Shanghai bund and the people square.
Then you ask yourself the question, why would I want to visit this location? well the nanjing street is a fantastic place shopping and experiencing the vibrant Chinese culture. there are many high end designer brand stores, and there also are some simple food stalls.
and if none of those entice you, then you would definitely enjoy the awesome view of the surrounding building which gives this street a very metropolitan look!

Another Shanghai downtown weekend getaway! This time it was just across the street from People's Park at the JW Marriott. It's a great location if you wish to be near Nanjing Rd. for shopping and a quick metro ride to the Shanghai Aquarium, which is a must see. The aquarium easily takes 4 hours to explore without even realizing it. Great fun for the whole family or single travelers. 🤪😜🤩🧜♀️

I went to Shanghai to watch the furniture exhibition in September and walked around. It was really a beautiful place.
☀️On the first morning, I went to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. I recommend fresh meat moon cakes and Shen Dacheng Qingtuan ~ Meat Songqingtuan is so delicious! What kind of cake is it? last piece! Don't eat it! It ’s unpalatable ... Pedestrian Street is very commercial and prosperous, and there is a big m bean shop to take pictures ~🏙

When i said i was in love with Shanghai city’s lights, this was what i meant. Look at them lights!! So colorful and made me wanting to just stroll around. I mean, that was what i did here. Just strolled around, i was stuck with amazement. Nanjing Rd is basically a pedestrian street with food and clothing brand. I usually come here to get its famous XiaoLongBao.

Nanjing East Road is one of Shanghai's top ten commercial centers. It is located in the center of Shanghai. It starts from the Bund in the east and is located at Zhongshan East Road and west to Tibet Middle Road. It is 1,599 meters long. Among them, Henan Middle Road is divided into Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street by the west, and has the same reputation as Rongle East Road in Songjiang District.
Nanjing East Road, the famous store in the store, the industry is prosperous and prosperous, all kinds of commercial buildings and excellent buildings gather together, and the Chinese and Western cultures of the commercial street are integrated. It is this diversity of tolerance, mutual penetration and absorption, covering the essence of ancient and modern China and foreign countries, the broad minds of the people and the development of the future, the Nanjing Road is full of vitality, showing its prosperity for more than a hundred years.

In Shanghai, the last thing to worry about is eating. As a city with a lot of rivers and rivers, all the cuisines in China and even the world's cuisines can be found in Shanghai. Xintiandi, Nanjing Road, or those on the unknown road, may hide food.
Morning, of course, to eat raw oysters and noodles.
Although it is opened on the bustling section of Nanjing Road, the price is not expensive at all. Two yuan is fried, the meat is full, the skin is thin and stuffed. The most expectation of eating and frying is the moment when the first bite is bitten. Happiness bursts.
