First, go to the visitor center to get a map, listen to the park's introduction, and learn about the history and landforms of Crater Lake.
There are more than 30 viewing points along the drive around the lake, and you can choose your favorite to stop at.
🌟 Recommended hiking spots:
Watchman Overlook: A beautiful panoramic view of the lake, where you can see Wizard Island (the small island in the lake).
Cleetwood Cove: The only trailhead to the lake, suitable for hiking enthusiasts.
Watchman Peak Trail: The whole journey is less than 3 km, but the view of Crater Lake from the top is well worth the trip. 💙
