✅Travel tips
🔸The bottled water sold in Icelandic stores is tap water. Remember to adjust the water temperature to the coldest before drinking.
🔸Icelandic restaurants have special prices for lunch, usually around 2000 Icelandic krona or about 100 RMB. Although the price is favorable, the quality is not discounted.
🔸Public transportation in Iceland is not always on time, and taxi fares are relatively high, so you can find a reliable landing group✅
🔸Download an Aurora APP to forecast the Aurora situation at any time, which is convenient for everyone to chase the 🌠Aurora better!
🔸All beautiful outfits are in vain, just bring a few more dazzling hats and scarves🧣 to match, follow the "three-layer dressing method"

A trek to Seljalandfoss
I got inspired to do a hike/camp when I went to Iceland, I started my hike from Seljalandsfoss which is an amazing waterfall just 166km out of Reykjavik which is Iceland's city centre.
Seljalandsfoss surrounding area has a few waterfalls in the area which makes it all the more worthwhile going, Iceland has only one highway made for cars and hiking. The air condition makes it so comfortable walking

#familytrips2024
Approaching Seljalandsfoss, anticipation surged within us like the mist rising from its thunderous cascade. As we approached the base of the waterfall, the roar of rushing water grew louder, filling the air with its powerful symphony. The sheer beauty of Seljalandsfoss, with its graceful curtain of water plunging into a serene pool below, left us in awe of nature's grandeur. Walking along the rocky path behind the falls, we were enveloped in a veil of spray, feeling the cool mist kiss our skin and hearing the rhythmic pulse of water echoing in our ears. In that moment, surrounded by the raw beauty of Seljalandsfoss, we felt a deep sense of wonder and gratitude for the opportunity to witness such a breathtaking spectacle.
Looking ahead, our next dream destination beckons from the lush landscapes of Costa Rica. We imagine exploring its verdant rainforests, discovering hidden waterfalls nestled amidst tropical foliage, and encountering diverse wildlife in their natural habitats. Costa Rica's abundance of natural beauty and commitment to conservation promise an immersive experience in nature, where every moment is a chance to connect with the world around us and deepen our appreciation for the wonders of the Earth. It's a destination that resonates with our adventurous spirit and passion for exploration, inviting us to embark on a journey of discovery and rediscovery.

Isn't anyone going to Iceland from December to February? The average cost is over 9k per person
💐Ladies! Look at the aurora
👀Don't just go to Norway and Finland, Iceland, as a country where you can see the aurora across the whole territory, is really great! Known as the end of the world, Iceland is simply a leisure resort for friends from the UK, Germany and other major European countries🙋Every year, a large number of Chinese people also go there, and the groups in July and August this year have been contracted by friends from all over the world😭December and January will also usher in a small peak of tourism, the snowy Iceland with Christmas decorations is really beautiful😭
-
💯I really recommend everyone to join a group tour without stepping into any pitfalls
👇There are many good local groups in Iceland, and we had a great time with the local group we joined, mainly because it was reliable
💗To sum up my personal feelings: I think the local group we joined this time was very cost-effective, and the average cost for a few of us was just over 9k, including accommodation, transportation, and tour guide. If you need, you can ask me for recommendations👍

1⃣️Seljalandsfoss waterfall
There are raincoats for sale at the parking lot🅿️location, those who want to walk behind the waterfall must buy one❗️
2⃣️Skógafoss waterfall
After finally drying off at the previous waterfall, we got soaked again here. We wanted to get close to the waterfall to take pictures but ended up in a downpour⛈️
Fortunately, we saw a double rainbow🌈and the fatigue disappeared
3⃣️Plane wreckage✈️
When you walk in, you will see a huge plane wreckage standing alone on the dark beach, coupled with the gloomy weather, it's a great photo opportunity📷
5⃣️Black sand beach
How to describe the black sand beach at 11 o'clock at night? Quiet, mysterious, engulfing, depressing, it makes you feel awe, and you dare not get close to the waves when taking pictures on the shore🌊
The loneliness at the end of the world hits you, it's a different kind of beauty🖤

Iceland | Experience the ultimate sense of solitude
Experience the ultimate sense of solitude. The journey in Iceland is already halfway through, let's rewind the itinerary of the past two days from the end to the beginning.
Overcast skies are not beautiful, but they're not bad either, because it's precisely the cloudy weather that brings out the feeling of being at the end of the world in Iceland. No matter the weather, it has its charm.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach - The waves, as if alive, rush onto the black sand beach regardless of anything, eventually dissipating into white foam. A sense of fate, here it comes.
I thought by the end of February it would be summer, but upon arrival, I found that most areas are still in winter. One can imagine how vibrant the summer here must be.
Skogafoss Waterfall - It's stunning. The grandeur of the waterfall and the scattered spray are overwhelming. Humans are so insignificant in front of nature.
Climbing over 500 steps to the top of the waterfall, the misty mountains are shrouded, like a fairyland.
Believe me, the view from the top is really worth the effort.
Seljalandsfoss and Gljufrabui Waterfalls - One can go behind the waterfall for a full view, the other requires stepping on stones in a stream to enter a crevice to see it.
The experience of viewing both waterfalls is quite good, but be sure to have full waterproof protection!
Gullfoss Waterfall - Already dressed in its winter attire, the wind at Gullfoss is strong. The weather was better on the first day, and it was very photogenic.
Thingvellir National Park - A place that has witnessed the history of Iceland. The scenery is pretty good, and there's a small waterfall.
Haukadalur Geysir - The geothermal water eruption is still quite magical. The intervals between eruptions are not so regular, and everyone silently holds their phones by the spring, like devout believers, just to capture the moment of eruption.
The adorable Icelandic horses, with their long hair and very gentle nature, must say these three have been well-fed by tourists.
The two days with the Nice travel group were quite happy. Apart from the black sand beach where the guide followed to ensure everyone's safety, for other itineraries, after explaining the precautions and setting the meeting time, everyone was free to move around.
Alright, the running account ends here. Looking forward to tomorrow's glacier hiking and the ice cave.

Time seems to be frozen, a glance at the ice waterfall is like a thousand years
When winter comes to Iceland, in addition to admiring the aurora, you can't miss the unique and spectacular ice waterfall here.
🌟Highlights:
Rows of icicles, as if time is frozen. It's beautiful and magnificent.
You can go to the Golden Waterfall to have a full view of the spectacular icicles, cascading down thousands of feet. 😆😆😆
The most beautiful Seljalandsfoss Waterfall has a unique charm. The only regret is that due to the ground freezing, the secret path has been closed. Can't take super large shots. 😝😝😝😝
Looking back at the sunset, the distant wheat fields have a sense of immediacy like the star watchman.

Seri Selang Waterfall on the Cliff
Seljalandsfoss waterfall is located in the southwest of Iceland and is one of the waterfalls with a relatively large drop in Reykjavik. Seljalandsfoss is located on the Seljalands River, about 30 kilometers west of Skogar, between the Skogafoss waterfall and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The vertical height is as high as 60 meters. Although the height is not as high as other waterfalls, the water flow of Seljalandsfoss is still relatively turbulent, making the color of the waterfall appear white, blending with the beautiful and unique scenery of Iceland, like a beautiful landscape oil painting. Because of this picturesque combination, Seljalandsfoss is beautiful all year round, especially during sunrise and sunset. When the orange, red, and yellow sunlight shines on the snow-white waterfall, a beautiful rainbow will appear, adding a fairy spirit to this stunning scene.
Seljalandsfoss waterfall has another feature, which is like a water curtain cave. At the bottom of the cliff behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall, there is a small path for visitors to pass through. People can walk through the path to the back of the waterfall and enjoy the stunning view of the waterfall from 360 degrees. You need to wear a raincoat when walking behind the waterfall because you will get wet from the mist. Walking behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall in summer is a great thing to do, especially on sunny days when you can catch a rainbow. In winter, be careful of icy roads, rocks and ground are slippery. Friends who plan to visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall must pay attention to safety. Seljalandsfoss waterfall is not unfamiliar to photographers. The most famous photo is taken by drilling behind the waterfall. It is recommended to wear ice claws when taking photos of the waterfall in winter. You can drive from the capital Reykjavik along Highway 1 to the southeast to Seljalandsfoss River, then turn left into Highway 249. The parking lot requires a fee, and there is a self-service machine for card payment.

The Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is 60 meters high and the water flows down the cliff. It is one of Iceland's most popular beautiful waterfalls. There is a kind of momentum that flows down three thousand feet. The Seljalandsfoss Waterfall can pass through the waterfall water. This is one of the photographer's favorite spots. The waterfall is close to us. The sky appears far away from the waterfall. Because of the high popularity of Seljalandsfoss Falls, there are many people coming here. The venue has a fee of 800 ISK.
Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is located in the southwestern part of Iceland. It is not only the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland, but also the most beautiful waterfall in the world. Its source is on the Seljalandsfoss River about 30 kilometers west of Skogar. The water flows from the river. And the next drop is 60 meters. There is a small path at the bottom of the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, which is close to the Icelandic No. 1 round-the-island road. Therefore, the transportation is very convenient. Visitors can get on and off the roundabout and watch the waterfall along the trail. The scenery here is unforgettable. Although Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is not the largest waterfall in the world but the water is more turbulent, the color of the waterfall is white, and the surrounding scenery blends with each other to form a beautiful landscape painting. It attracts tourists from all over the world as well as photographers.
Shuija Caves - Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss is a 60-meter-high waterfall in southwestern Iceland. It is said to be one of the most photographed waterfalls in Iceland. There is a cliff at the bottom of the cliff. The trail can be walked behind the waterfall, which is a water curtain hole.
If there is plenty of time, leave it to the evening, the sun is reflected on the water curtain of the waterfall, and it turns into a beautiful mist, which is very beautiful.
The Seri Yalan Waterfall, located on the Seri Yalan River about 30 kilometers west of Skogar, Iceland, is also called the Shepherd Falls and is 60 meters high. It is characterized by the same way as the water curtain hole. The World Wide Web once published the "Five Great Resorts for Wedding Photos", the first one is the Seri Yalan Waterfall. The article said that "Seri Yalan Falls is located in Iceland and is regarded as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world."
This waterfall is not the highest in Iceland, but it is the most photographed. The wind was particularly large. Although I didn't know how many winds there were at the time, I quickly realized that such windy weather is commonplace in Iceland. Therefore, the water that sees the waterfall is almost not falling straight, and is quickly blown to the atomization by the strong wind.
Wear a raincoat and walk behind the waterfall. The path is slippery and you should be careful when walking. As if entering the water curtain hole, the waterfall flows down from the cliff and turns into a mist of water.
