Seven Wells Waterfalls, Langkawi
Also known as Seven Wells Waterfall, Telaga Tujuh has the best views and natural pools are so worth it.
The climb is very very steep and we had to climb backwards because it was almost impossible to climb straight 🤪 and then there were 600+ stairs 😮💨
If you want to save yourself from all the climbing, you can visit the waterfall and have a nice swim in the "infinity pool" there.
But as the name suggests, there are around seven main pools or even more.
We went ahead and crossed 2 other pools, trekked through the jungle for an hour to reach this place, which had clean and chill natural water.
The fact that we had the pool all to ourselves and we got enough time to settle in and play around, was the highlight 😍

Telaga Tujuh Waterfall
An absolutely amazing experience! The waterfall is gorgeous and the water is clear and refreshing, especially after the hike and with the warm weather..
The seven wells are quite nice too, you need to hike slightly more to get there. I suggest going to the wells first then to the waterfall, so you can rest and enjoy a nice swim before heading back. recommended place!

Seven Wells Waterfall ✨
There is two stop, first stop at lower there is more beautiful waterfall as you can see from my photos, another stop in more up you need to climb, that also is nice having a different experience. We went top for 1 hour, and came down to enjoy the rest. Both stop having a toilet. On top there is also a glass bottom bridge you take photo.
Would recommend wearing proper shoes over, although the locals trek in flip flops. Pretty steep, stone stairs, can be fairly slippery.
Actually I feel both up and down waterfall are safe, as long we take precautions. At the waterfall entrance there are few shop selling snack, drink and coffee. Parking fees per entry is Rm2 and is safe.
When we go up you can choose either stairs or road. Really beautiful nature and definitely worth the visit. ❤️

7 Well Waterfall
a scenic and most beautiful waterfall in Langkawi, nearby the cable car area. before reach the waterfall on the top, must climb approximately 638+ stairs. For comparison the Batu Caves stairs is 272 stairs. The location very suitable for the nature fellow that crave for scenic and panaromic view of the mountain with the sound of the water. The water is cold enough to give exitement to your mind and body. best place for healing, resting your mind.

Named after seven natural pools connected by a gushing river, Seven Wells Waterfall is one of Langkawi's most captivating natural performances. Located within the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park, the falls are split into 2 sections, the upper pools and the lower pools, separated by a striking vertical waterfall cascading down a 91-meter-high cliff face.
Cooling down in a refreshing natural pool is the reward for hiking through the humid rainforest to reach the zen-laden waterfall, amidst leafy trees with cheeky monkeys swinging between their branches.
First up are the lower pools, reached after climbing around 200 steps. These are the most popular for their ease of access, view of the vertical waterfall, and large plunge pool at the bottom of a slippery rockface. Dedicated hikers continue the climb totaling 638 steps to reach the upper pools. Here you'll find the fall's namesake 7 pools of various depths, shapes, and sizes. The pools are connected by a river forming a smooth natural waterslide along the slick rock.
The most tempting yet potentially-treacherous pool is a natural infinity pool at the mouth of the waterfall. Foolhardy swimmers must be extremely careful to not get swept over the edge by the deceptively-strong river current.
NOTED:U CAN ALSO FIND BLUE LAGOON HERE IF U FITS TO CLIMB MORE STEPS😂

TELAGA TUJUH LANGKAWI
Telaga Tujuh @ Seven Wells Waterfall is located at Mount Machincang. Basically, it has 7 ponds, and the water flows from one pond to another.
A bit of hiking is needed which take about 30 minutes before reaching the peak of Telaga Tujuh. The best time to visit is during the wet season like year end, where the water is plenty in the pond. Always be extra careful during the rainy day, the the rock May be slippery.
Upon reaching the peak, there is one hanging bridge platform for the tourists to catch a beautiful scenery of Langkawi

Telaga Tujuh Waterfall 💦✨
Beautiful waterfalls and its free with no entry fee. Although it's quite a lot of stairs you have to climb but from base waterfall looks majestic. 🍃
Water is very clear and a bit cold as expected. Its quite fun to hop around the hilly terrain. At the entrance there are some snack shops and a nice tiny cafe too. 🥰
Once cleared, you will be greeted by a serene peaceful view of the forest and water flowing down. Awesome view. Cooling water to take a dip in. Just be careful of the slippery rocks. 👍🏻✨

Enjoy dipping my feet into 7 Wells Langkawi!
Last weekend me did hike two waterfall in Langkawi.
One of it is Telaga Tujuh Waterfall and the other is Temurun Waterfall.
I would like to highlight Seven Wells Waterfall Langkawi cause it is the most picturesque and beautiful waterfall i’ve ever seen.
It was situated not far from Langkawi Sky Bridge. From right here when we climb up until waterfall, we could see the bridge. From Chenang beach it only took about 25 minutes ride.
The morning walk and exercise up the steps is breath-taking. By the way, me would recommend to wear a comfortable shoes and bring along clothes if you would love to take a dip into the waterfall.
Not to forget, there is no restaurant nearby but you can bring along your sandwich for picnic. There is also several stall that you can buy tidbits and soda as well.
Overall, it is always an adventure to try this waterfall if you visit Langkawi. Have fun!!!

Telaga Tujuh Waterfall

It's a rather long climb (stairs) to the top. But it's divided in multiple stages. So it is doable despite the heat and humidity. Also, you can swim in the refreshing lagoons, so the reward is great!
Beautiful views and a great jungle path that leads all the way to the top. Beware that the path to the blue Lagoon is quite confusing, as it it also the same path to the peak.
The path divides in two after 20 min into the path, if you miss that one, you might end up getting all the way to the top, which is a rather dense piece of jungle.

A tranquil escape into nature!
My recent hiking trip in the forest was a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The trail was well-marked and wound through a diverse landscape of towering trees, bubbling streams, and lush undergrowth. Each step was accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature—rustling leaves, chirping birds, and the occasional rustle of small animals in the underbrush.
Along the way, there were several scenic viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding wilderness. One highlight was a serene, blue pool (level 5) nestled in the heart of the forest, perfect for a peaceful rest and some reflection.
What stood out the most was the sense of tranquility and solitude. Despite being a popular spot, the trail was not crowded, allowing for moments of quiet contemplation and a deeper connection with nature. The air was crisp and fresh, a welcome change from urban pollution, and I felt invigorated with each breath.
The hike was moderately challenging, with a few steep inclines and rocky sections that added a bit of adventure without being overly strenuous.
***
You should ensure you are in good physical condition before climbing to the top of this mountain (at least 1.5L/person). Additionally, bring plenty of water and snacks because the path gets quite strenuous towards the end. You won't have the energy to reach the peak or descend if you don't have enough water. I underestimated it and only brought 500ml of water. Fortunately, I managed to conquer it and made it down the mountain.
Overall, this forest hike was a perfect blend of physical activity and mental relaxation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to recharge their spirits and reconnect with the natural world.

Really nice waterfall.
Amidst the lush rainforest of Langkawi, I embarked on a mesmerizing journey to the Seven Wells waterfall. The trek through the dense foliage heightened my anticipation, and as the cascading sound grew louder, I knew nature had something extraordinary in store. Emerging into a serene clearing, I marveled at the seven natural pools, each a tier in the waterfall's descent.
The pristine water shimmered in the sunlight, inviting me to take a refreshing dip. Surrounded by towering trees and vibrant flora, the atmosphere exuded tranquility. I climbed the steep stairs to reach the higher tiers, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. The Seven Wells waterfall proved to be a haven of natural beauty, leaving an indelible impression of Langkawi's enchanting landscape.

[Langkawi] Bask in Nature’s Beauty
#malaysia The one thing I truly envy about Malaysia is its abundance of nature. When we decided to visit Langkawi, I was keen to visit one of the many waterfalls there to bask in nature’s glory.
What I didn’t expect (but should have expected) was the abundance of stairs leading to the waterfall. 😅 I strongly recommend you visit early in the morning and take your time with the climb. Because we arrived in the late afternoon, we were eager to get to the top before it turned dark so we didn’t have much time to catch our breath.
But was it worth it? Absolutely!
Once we dipped into the “seven wells” on top of the mountain, we forgot all our tiredness as it was the view that was breathtaking.
