Hi Terii
Suzhou's Trousers!
Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu province in China.
The infamous "trousers" building in Suzhou is a wonderful building situated beside the huge lake.
The official name is Gate of the East, also known as the Gate of the Orient, is the second tallest building in Suzhou, behind Suzhou IFS. It is intended to be a symbol of a gateway to the city which emphasizes the city's continuing significance in modern China.
The area beside the building has a gigantic shopping mall with many floors inside and out. Lots to explore in this excellent Chinese city.

A great day out at the gate of orient in Suzhou China!
if you are interested in visiting this beautiful location this is called the gate of the Orient in suzhou and it is located right next to the jinji lake in suzhou and also right behind is the suzhou Center) mall so it’s a very popular location in Suzhou.
This really stands out from other buildings because of its peculiar shape and is also known as the pants building. Which makes it one of the major monuments and sights to see if you visit suzhou.
On this day I took my drone and I was able to get some amazing photos and videos of this really cool place.

The best lakefront walk in Suzhou!
Right in front of the Gate of the Orient building is this really big park which nearly wraps around the entire west side of the Jinji lake. it is this water front park where you see so many people and locals and tourists, coming to enjoy the beautiful sights.
From this location you can get a clear view of the other side of the lake which is where the Times Square area is and the tallest building in Suzhou, the IFS tower is.
Normally when you came to this location you are bound to see other people, or families and a lot of couples taking a walk along the waterfront. but at the same time it doesn’t usually get overcrowded. hope you enjoy the pictures! #momentsmission #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #suzhou #travel #traveltips #unforgettableexperiences

the Gate of the Orient!
Today was a really foggy day at the Gate of the Orient. the clouds covered the sun ⛅️ and it was a bit dark. but nevertheless it was still such a beautiful sight. I’ve been privileged to visit this location in all the different seasons but it seems like autumn takes the cake for this location for the best season to visit. you have your nice maple leaves and orange trees that contrast the dark blue hues which makes it so beautiful.
this amazing spot is located right in the center of Suzhou. and just by driving around this are you are bound to see a massive structure that looks like huge pants 👖 this is one of the iconic monuments you have to visit in Suzhou!#scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #mapletrees #nationalpark #urbanexplorer #momentsmission

In Suzhou, in addition to the garden architecture, the most impressive thing is the Gate of the East. This building is one of the landmark buildings in China for many people. It is also the symbol of the city in Suzhou, although it looks in appearance. Some people may vomit, and many people will say that it is the "door of the autumn trousers". Although it is a personal spit, it can make many people feel very good. Of course, this is the most pleasing place in this building.
Want to take a beautiful photo here, try to go to the distance to appreciate its beauty, you can take a trip and feel the majestic beauty of the East Gate. The Oriental Gate at night is also very amazing ~
Address: Located at No. 199, Xinggang Street, Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, at the eastern end of the CBD axis of Suzhou Industrial Park, east to Xinggang Street and Jinji Lake, the west is the park management committee building and the Century Financial Building, the south is the small river, and the north side is the urban green belt and the urban road.

20 minutes from Shanghai [Suzhou] It was so cool ah
to Suzhou tourism, then you can not come to Suzhou's landmark buildings - the door of the East (commonly known as the big pants)
this building super future wind, and! ! No one on the road! You can take photos with confidence!
super cool! Very cyberpunk feeling!
and Suzhou is really comfortable, not as bustling as Shanghai, but with the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan Water Village~
.
I suggest you go along the Suzhou Central Shopping Mall, in the middle of this road Small garden

The sunset at Suzhou's Orange Sea is poised to become the next hot spot for photography
The sun sets into the orange sea, and the evening breeze succumbs to a sincere love,
Suzhou landmarks + big picture frame + Jinji Lake Orange Sea sunset,
A romance that belongs uniquely to Gusu,
Not just romantic, but also incredibly photogenic,
It's predicted to be Suzhou's next photography sensation.

📍Suzhou Big Picture Frame
Ⓜ️200 meters from the Expo Center Station on Subway Line 1.

📷The big picture frame is located in the plaza by Jinji Lake on the side of the Suzhou Science and Culture Arts Center. Through the big frame, you can capture the Jinji Lake sunset and the Suzhou landmark, the Gate of the Orient, within the same view, making for a stunning composition.
🌃There's a high chance of witnessing a beautiful afterglow following the sunset, and the night view here is also incredibly gorgeous.

Suzhou | Encounter a Cherry Blossom Rain - A Two-Day Tour in Suzhou
After work on Friday, head straight to the high-speed train station for a leisurely two-day trip to Suzhou~
(Since I often come to Suzhou, I didn't go to Pingjiang Road or Shantang Street this time, as I've been to Shangfangshan Forest Animal World before, which has a pretty good natural environment, great for taking kids for a walk~)
Now let me talk about a few recommended spots for this trip:
Check-in 1: Suzhou Museum West Branch
The cherry trees at the entrance are really beautiful, and just as the wind started to blow, it brought down a '5 Centimeters Per Second' romantic scene💕
There are quite a few activities for children to experience in the museum, which is nice. The West Branch is less crowded compared to the Suzhou Museum, and we got a reservation directly on Saturday. There were a lot of kids in the West Branch~ History and culture enthusiasts should definitely go to learn about Suzhou's thousand-year history, but be cautious if you have very young children, as they might want to run outside after a while~
Check-in 2: The Gate to the East👖
Deservedly the busiest area in Suzhou, it kind of gives off a 'Shanghai Bund' vibe at a glance~ Even the underground parking goes down to B5! Parking fees aren't cheap either (I'll attach a photo of the parking fee chart at the end).
PS. There is a music fountain show at Jinji Lake every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 20:00, lasting about 20 minutes. During the Qingming holiday on April 5th and 6th, there are said to be two shows, one at 19:30 and another at 20:30~
Check-in 3: Xinmeihua Restaurant
It's a Suzhou-style restaurant with a nice environment and taste. The roast duck, squirrel-shaped mandarin fish, seafood vermicelli pot, old tofu, and spicy and sour shredded potatoes we ordered were all good, very suitable for family dining.
Tips: When coming to Suzhou, I suggest choosing Suzhou Station for high-speed trains, as it's closer to the city center. You can take the subway directly to your destination right after getting off the train.

This is truly one of my bucket lists to visit this place. We were supposed to come here for sunset view, unfortunately we missed the golden time 🥲
However, we continue to stay here for the skyline from bright turn into dark, another level of enjoyment!
There were not many people around this area probably there are other viewing point.
Personally recommend to this place to view the 3 musketeer from afar 😆

If you want to capture the Suzhou Pants Building, don't miss these spots
As a landmark building of Suzhou, you must check in at the Pants Building when you come to Suzhou.
After walking around Jinji Lake, I'll share with you the best spots for a photo op 📸p1-2 Suzhou Center's third-floor garden corridor
📸p3 Jinji Lake's large photo frame (navigate directly)
📸p4 In front of Suzhou Center's entrance plaza, directly below the east side
📸p5 In front of Suzhou Center's entrance, on the roadside, facing the East Gate's plaque
📸p6 Entrance corridor of Suzhou Culture and Arts Center
📸p7 Bridge at the main entrance of Suzhou Culture and Arts Center
📸p8-9 Opposite to the East Gate Road, at the music fountain square
Remember to prepare a wide-angle lens, preferably around 16mm focal length, otherwise, you won't be able to fit the entire Pants Building into the frame of the Cultural Center's garden

The magnolia flowers under the Gate of the Orient fully reveal the romance of Suzhou
I finally got a photo of the magnolia flowers with the 'big pants' building!
Taken on March 12th, real shot!
The combination of magnolia flowers and the Gate of the Orient,
is like a poem, a painting,
the romance of this city.
A gentle breeze blows,
and the petals fall softly,
like a fairy scattering flowers,
beautiful enough to take one's breath away.

'Gusu city outside Hanshan Temple, midnight bell to the guest boat'🛶; even the ancient Bai Juyi praised the place, are you sure you don't come?

Where is the best place to view and check in at Jinji Lake in Suzhou
✅Jinji Lake Scenic Area is a large urban landscape lake in Suzhou, with high-rise buildings along the lake and modernity, showing another side of Suzhou in contrast to the ancient city area.
✔️Jinji Lake is large and has many attractions, among which the area around Suzhou Culture and Art Center is the most modern landscape in Suzhou.
🌈This is the best place to view and check in at the new landmark of Suzhou - the Gate of the Orient; next to it is the Moonlight Wharf, a beautiful yacht wharf with a European town style, elegantly moored on the northeast bank of Jinji Lake.

The sunset at Jinji Lake is very nice! You can take a photo with the Gate of the Orient!
My favorite attractions in Suzhou are the Gate of the Orient and Jinji Lake! The really stunning sunset adds a modern touch to this ancient city

Suzhou from above, The gate of the Orient
The Gate of the Orient commonly known as the Pants building in Suzhou, is a fairly recent structure in Suzhou but has quickly become one of the most popular spots to visit in Suzhou and also one of the most iconic Suzhou landmarks.
This stunning and unique building is located in the very center of Suzhou. right beneath it is the Suzhou center mall and it’s also located pretty close to the crowne plaza hotel.
This landmark is actually an apartment building, an office building, and has a number of cafes and restaurants all inside this building. so people are able to go in and have a coffee while admiring the beautiful jinji lake view.#scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #urbanexplorer #newyearstravel #suzhou

In addition to the ancient streets, Suzhou also has modern and fashionable neighborhoods.
Especially at the Jinji Lake in the east of Suzhou City.
Jinji Lake Scenic Area, located in Suzhou Industrial Park.
Compared with the quaint old town, a modern high-rise building is also a good place for young people in Suzhou to eat, shop and relax.
The most famous building by the lake is the Gate of the East and the center of Suzhou.
Oriental Gate has many honors, "China's most complex super high-rise building", "China's highest infinity pool", "China's highest street crossing", "China's highest aerial Su-style garden" and so on. Below the gate of the East is the Suzhou Center, a super-large shopping mall, and a viewing platform upstairs. The viewing platform is the National Gold Center on the east bank of Jinji Lake from the bottom of the East Gate.
There is a musical fountain show every Friday night, and the night scene is super beautiful!
Maple.
When you travel to Suzhou, in addition to the ancient town gardens and some museums, the most worthwhile thing to miss is the new landmark of Suzhou. When you walk into Suzhou, no matter where you are in Suzhou, it always appears in your sight from time to time...
The appearance of the door to the East may be more than one persons spit, but its the same With many honors, and its many exposures in the hit TV series, it has become a place where Suzhou will hit the card, just like when you arrive in Shanghai, you will definitely look at the Oriental Pearl.
The transportation to the place is very convenient. If it is not self-driving, it is recommended to take the local transportation mode of Suzhou, subway or bus (Metro Gate Station of Metro Line 1).
How do I take a good photo? It should be a question that every traveler will think about, and I hope that I can record every picture of my beautiful journey.
Recommended angle: the rest area in the middle of the front of the Suzhou Central Shopping Center;
the zebra crossing at the second intersection of the Suzhou Center Shopping Center;
the city square opposite the Oriental Gate Exhibition Center;
if If you want to shoot the night scene, you can go to the sidewalk along the Jinji Lake opposite, and you can also discharge beautiful reflections.
Right, you can take a wide-angle lens...
Finally, I want to know what other good-looking angles you recommend!
I_am_Thirteen.
Suzhou Oriental Gate's best shooting point
turned around the network did not even find the best shooting point to shoot the East Gate, when I went to explore it, I finally found it! Not only is it easy to find, but no one yet! The best C bit is just taken! The
shooting position is on the lakeside boulevard opposite the Suzhou Center, and the lake can still take a reflection. It is free for two hours before parking, and starts at 2 yuan per hour for the third hour. It is simply too conscience!
YangYangiiiiii.
The new height of Suzhou, the Gate of the East
66-story "Oriental Gate" has undoubtedly become the landmark of Suzhou. Borrowing the words of Mr. Su Chengyong, a professor of Chinese Department at Suzhou University, he described it as the curtain wall is curved, like Suzhou silk; the shape is the gate, like the water and land gate; modern plus classical, like double-sided embroidery. Sitting on the beautiful skyline of Jinji Lake, the north and south floors of the Oriental Gate are a collection of museums, large street-view shopping malls, high-end office buildings, luxury residences and trendy apartments, and online concept stores. Although I have not yet fully completed Its already exciting to fix it to the outside world, but only look at the appearance and literal introduction.
Oriental Gate recommends taking a photo punch:
1. Close to the front of the center of Suzhou, it is a good photo punching point.
2. Pass the viaduct and go behind the gate of the East. You can take the best angle of the Gate of the East on the bridge. Then, walk straight to the open square near Jinji Lake. The steps of the square are very good. The place.
Oriental Gate Address: No. 199, Xinggang Street, Suzhou City
Arrival: Suzhou Metro Line 1 has the Oriental Gate station, so the most convenient way to get is by subway From Suzhou Station, you can also take bus No. 26, No. 178, Express Line No. 5 and so on.
Self-drive 4.6 km along Xinggang Street, 420 meters turn around, you can arrive.
Enjoyourtrip.
