Stockholm - Capital City of Sweden
I had a chance to visit few places at Stockholm during my stay such as Vasa Museum, Skansen, Zoo at Stockholm, Gamla Stan, Drottningholm Palace, Sodermalm and few more. Overall I love spending my time strolling around Gamla stan. Enjoy my time get a cup of coffee and best waffle at the cafe. If you loved history, there are a lot of city tour to be done right here to see old buildings and narrow cobblestone streets. Hope I will come back again some other time.

Trip at Stockholm's Vasamuseet
visited the Vasamuseet where a full warship from the 17th century is on display. be entranced by the grandeur and majestic appearance of the warship and learn how modern technology and techniques are employed to hoist the ship up and preserve it up to this day. entry fee is about 170 SEK which is reasonable for a memorable visit.

Stockholm - a perfect city for a lovely break

Stockholm is a great city when it comes to an autumn city break - although it is located in the north of Europe, the climate is still temperate and the weather at this time is really great! Atmospheric narrow streets, Scandinavian architecture, minimalism combined with classicism makes this place unique. I highly recommend strolling through Gamla Staan both day and night, visiting the Open Air Museum and the Vasa Museum, and for dessert, eat cinnamon Kanebulle! In terms of chocolate, it's definitely worth to try different tastes of Marabou - the popcorn one is my favourite!

Vasa Museum - certainly a museum to visit whilst in Sweden's capital Stockholm. Absolutely amazing place you should not miss.
What else you can do in Stockholm is head over to the Vasa Museum. This museum is built around a military ship that unfortunately sank on her maiden voyage. As the museum guide said: “Who was to be blamed for the failure of Vasa?” The evidence depicted King Gustavus Adolphus as the main reason for this failure. However, in 17th ct. Sweden, the King couldn’t be wrong or to be blamed and hence the inquiry at the time concluded that no one is to blame.

Vasa Museum
#europetrip I was visiting Stockholm on a work trip and had some down time and decided to head to this museum.
The museum is amazing! Every single area of the ship is covered! From the ship that would have worked on board to the challenge they had resurfacing the ship.
It is extremely well documented and really gives you an insight in to what life would of been like all them years ago on such a large ship!
Would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area.
