Finding a suitable small city for tourism in the Yangtze River Delta region is really not an easy task because I don't like crowded places, so I lean towards less popular and off-the-beaten-path destinations. There are many unpopular cities, but their tourism playability is not high. However, on the coast of Jiangsu, I finally found-- a severely underrated small city in Jiangsu--Qidong. It has small and exquisite Jiangnan garden architecture as well as the grand and fun Tang-style amusement park. There is also an unbelievably blue coastline.
