Ross Bakery Inn is the most famous bakery in the town of Ross Town, where the magical girl Kiki is working in The Knicks. This bakery can bake more than 300 breads a day and has been in business for a century.

In Ross, time slows down. The highway stretches straight north, the car gliding into the heart of Tasmania. In the town of Ross, we made a brief stop. An old stone bridge quietly spanned the river, the grass was soft, and the wind was gentle. Here, there were no itineraries, only reasons to stroll. We went into a café converted from an old house and ordered a slice of their famous vanilla cake. The cake was soft, the vanilla aroma mild and authentic, like the character of this town—unassuming, yet memorable. Afternoon sunlight streamed onto the wooden tables, and time seemed to slow down as well. After dessert, we went into a nearby wool shop. Merino wool was woven into scarves and sweaters, warm to the touch, with understated colors, as if already preparing for the approaching chill. Ross isn't big, but it's just right. On a long journey, it acts like a gentle comma, reminding us that travel is not just about reaching a destination, but also about allowing ourselves to live slowly in a small town.

We took a short road trip to North West Tasmania to see the Tulip Blossom in early October, departing from Hobart. As always, we stopped at Ross Bakery to enjoy "The best Vanilla Slice in Tasmania". We can never get enough of it! Next, we drove to Launceston (Launnie) to drop off a friend. The drive was pleasant, especially since the weather was much better than we expected for early Tassie winter. We then took a break in Westbury, where we wandered through a lovely antique shop and admired the beautiful gardens and historic houses. For lunch, we had a seafood platter at the famous Chef's Catch. The fresh, cooked fish was absolutely delicious! Another stop in Penguin gave us a chance to soak up the sun, enjoy the beach and sea, and some ice cream. We spent the night on Burnie’s Great Ocean View Road, which offered breathtaking views. The next morning, we had an incredible coffee and breakfast at the Chapel in Burnie which is truly a five-star quality! After that, we headed to the Table Cape Tulip Fields. My girlfriend loved the vibrant flowers, and we spent a few hours there taking plenty of photos. We also bought a beautiful bouquet of tulips to take home. We finished the day at Boat Harbour Beach, which is one of the most picturesque beaches in NW Tasmania. Finally, we made our way back to Hobart. The village I stopped at while sightseeing in Tasmania was too cute! The only other places to visit are the church, souvenir shops, and a small museum. A village that would make a painter want to grab a canvas and paint. On the third day of the Tasmanian island tour, from Cradle Mountain to Hobart, passing through the town of Ross, we stayed in a bed and breakfast converted from a church. Ross Town From Cradle Mountain to Ross Town, the journey is long, requiring two and a half hours. We arrived at the town at noon, a place like a paradise, quiet and beautiful, where every household has decorated their small courtyard exquisitely and beautifully. Ross Town's fame also comes from a bakery here, where the famous Japanese manga artist Hayao Miyazaki once lived for a while and created 'Kiki's Delivery Service'. The bakery where the little witch Kiki worked in the movie was inspired by this place. The bakery's goods are delicious, and many people queue up to buy food, including locals, tourists, and mostly Japanese and Chinese visitors. Walking along the road from the bakery to Ross Four Corners, we saw the four buildings of the church, the courthouse, the bar, and the prison, representing redemption, justice, desire, and sin. Standing here is like standing at the crossroads of life, and how you choose determines what kind of life you will have. Not far away is the Ross Stone Bridge, an ancient stone bridge built by convicts at the time, standing quietly here, having withstood the passage of time, and full of history. Bed and Breakfast Converted from a Church On the way from Cradle Mountain to Hobart, we rested for one night in a bed and breakfast converted from a church. This place is so beautiful that I'm at a loss for words. The children kept saying it was a castle and loved it very much. When the first rays of the morning sun shone through the church's stained glass windows onto the wall of our bedroom, forming a colorful light, it touched the softest part of my heart, and I felt that this was the most beautiful gift travel has given me...
