Tasty dishes with generoses servings and friendly server. My only suggestion is to either offer physical menus or WiFi for guests. The QR code menu isn&rsquo;t very effective when the cell signal is weak inside the building.

Ok food but frankly quite average. Some things missing from the menu. Service was good. The restaurant suffered from lack of clients (we were booked for 9pm, Spanish dining time. It appears most of the clientele were not Spanish!). No music. We were stuck in the middle of the room. Would not return in a hurry.

The food was delicious, some of the best tacos I&rsquo;ve ever had. The service was terrible. We had to ask for things multiple times, he took plates while while we were still eating, etc. We&rsquo;d heard really great things about this restaurant and were glad that at least the food lived up to it.

We really enjoyed the Experience Menu we&#39;d at Javier Martin on 27/12. All courses were a feast for the taste buds (and eyes) and the choosen wine pairing was excellent.. Although English isn&#39;t our mother tongue nor the one of the serving staff, we managed very well in a charming, enjoyable way. The restaurant is ample, which is fine as one doesn&#39;t overhear what&#39;s being talked about at another table, but probably due to the lightening the space lacks some ambiance. This is personal (and maybe cultural). As in the end it&#39;s all about having good and creative dishes combined with an excellent serving staff, we&#39;ll rank it 10/10. Also worth mentioning is the, in our opinion, excellent interval between the courses. In Spain we often experience rushed service when one&#39;s a tasting menu with quite some dishes: one dish and glass of wine hasn&#39;t been finished or the next ones are already on the table, which leaves too little time to digest

Just wonderful and inventive food beautifully presented.  The menu del d&iacute;a is a fantastic value.   Our server Simon was the best and the owner very welcoming.

Our server was excellent. She was not very confident with her English but it was actually very good. Better than our Spanish!The view of the Plaza Mayor is excellent.The menu is very diverse. Lots of great choices. The wine list is also very diverse and prices are reasonable.

The historic setting of this Parador restaurant is truly magnificent, offering a unique dining experience within a beautifully preserved building. It&#39;s a place where you can truly feel the weight of history while enjoying a wonderful meal.

Superb innovative food.  One of the best meals I have had in Spain or anywhere else!  Service was charming and attentive and each dish was explained.  Highly recommended.

We were greeted with warmth even though we arrived late due to the fact our gps was confused, it was dark, and we had never been to El Palancar. The staff took our lack of Spanish language skills with grace and even recruited someone who appeared to be a long-term customer to occasionally help translate as needed. We asked our waiter to choose our dishes and he chose well! We shared 3 tapas. They were all excellent but we thought the mushroom lasagne was outstanding. The others (I&rsquo;m guessing here) were a salmon pate and a chorizo-filled filo pastry. My husband easily had the best pork dish he has ever had &mdash;grilled, marinated pork collar (again, guess) on a creamy, buttery, potato sauce and I had grilled cod. It was tender and grilled to perfection. We finished with a shared piece of orange cake with a thin, but rich and tasty layer of chocolate icing. Accompanied with wine, the bill was extremely reasonable particularly considering the quality of the service and the food. It was a true dining experience! Well worth the driving adventure and distance.

Highly recommend this place for its unique blend of traditional and surprising dishes. The atmosphere is lovely, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served.

In this charming hilltop town sits the Paradore Guadalupe. We ate dinner by a rill in stunning gardens with the sound of running water in the warm night air.Delicious local ingredients went into the really flavourful dishes served by efficient and eager staff. Would highly recommend both the Paradore to stay in and it&rsquo;s restaurant to dine in.

This restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with exquisite decor and attentive staff. The food is excellent, especially the potato croquettes, which were a highlight of our meal.

Nestled in a historic 16th-century building, this restaurant offers a wonderful blend of superb cuisine, a prime location, and a team of incredibly friendly and attentive staff.

Dishes and glasses were not clean. Some plates were not of good quality. More a regular quality. playing room for kids and kids menu can be an advantage.
