All of the food was fresh and good quality. Wine by the glass is a bit limited. Good value for money and booking through The Fork gave us a 20% discount which the restaurant honoured.

We had a really good lunch today at Il Trovatore. The food was excellent as well as the service. They are located very close to the centro and a short walk to the cathedral and the national gallery. We look forward to going back the next time we are in Parma.

Everything from the service to the food to the interior design was beautiful here. I came with my parents and it was a highlight of our trip. We adored the pasta and the desserts were icing on the cake. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing food. Been coming to this restaurant for many years and the quality is higher than ever. First time with our children who were warmly welcomed. Every pasta dish was top drawer. Interesting amuse bouche and intra courses.

Excellent and authentic osteria in the Piacenza Apennines: among the starters, the highlights are the light and freshly fried torta fritta, served warm in parchment paper to accompany local cured meats and cold cuts, and the outstanding Gutturnio reduction and pear mustard that perfectly complement the cheeses. The traditional Piacenza-style first and second courses are prepared with simplicity and served in very generous portions.Among the desserts, don&rsquo;t miss the Torta delle Rose with mascarpone cream&mdash;simply delightful.The service is friendly and efficient, the premises are impeccably clean and welcoming, and the view of the Arda Valley is breathtaking.Note: next to the main dining room, there is a smaller, more private room with a fireplace and a cozy atmosphere.We will definitely be back!Marco.&rdquo;

The food is seasonal and of a high standard, and the pricing is very fair. I really enjoyed every course but would specifically highly recommend the local recipes such as the gnocchi fritti and cappelletti con la coda, e gutturnio. Molto brave anche le cameriere.

The service with an English speaking staff was very good. A lot of choices for eating and Some tasty unknown things. Honest nice setting.
