The place is really nice, they have a good atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the owners are there to greet you in a fun and laid out way which creates an environment that&#39;s casual but also friendly. The food was also very good ????

My husband and I used to visit Lo Stornello for many years, so on my first return to Stresa after six years I wanted to go back.  And the same delightful people are there, providing a friendly and excellent service, the food is wonderful and with a table outside, it is a good spot for people watching.  A gem hidden in plain view.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is outstanding! Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing fresh ingredients and unique flavors. The venison dish was particularly remarkable, tender and delicious.

Nice lake view if you sit outside in the gazebo.We arrived at 9pm after checking in to our rooms at the attached hotel. Food took over 45 mins to arrive from the point of order (except for the Margherita pizza). The mixed fish gratin was cold to taste; the clam pasta has been under the heat lamp for a while as the top layer of pasta is dried. One of the prawns on the mixed fish grill is under-cooked (still grey on some parts).The waiters all looked really tired and busy, clearly understaffed on the night of our visit. I suspected that our food was waiting for some time to be brought to our table as the waiters were all busy.When we pay the bill I explained to the waiter what happened to our food and he was apologetic and offered us free desserts. However it was too late and we were all too tired from the traveling.Overall quite disappointed as we come to stay at this hotel for this restaurant due to the good reviews.

The restaurant is exceptionally atmospheric, located as it is on an idyllic patch on the banks of a nice little creek, in what used to be a mill (hence the name) - the mill wheel is still on display. The restaurant makes a point of keeping the menu at a compact length, and while that meant that choice wasn&#39;t exactly overwhelming (especially for me as a vegetarian), the venue itself is so enchanting, and the service so endearingly affectionate (as I made my way to leave the waiter even chased after me for a valedictory handshake) that I can only extend my warmest recommendations as to this place to anyone who should happen to spend some time in this corner of Lake Lugano.

Notwithstanding I had car trouble and was almost 2 hours late for my reservation, we were seated and served a splendid meal. Everything was perfection.

Great place with good food, if you like barbacue and beef this is the right choice. You can reach the location very easy from Milano and Varese. Very reccomended.

We visit Curcuma regularly and every time the food and service is incredible. We are from the UK and spend a lot of time in Italy, and Curcuma serves the most authentic Indian food that we have found so far. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. Good beer (Cobra &amp; Kingfisher) and wine choices too. We often rate our experience at Curcuma higher than most Indian restaurants we visit in the UK. Mr Sing and his family are extremely friendly, attentive and speak very good English, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable.  Advice to those that like their food spicy, ask for extra hot (piccante) otherwise it will be mild. We look forward to returning again soon.
