Bengodi has been one of my absolute favorite spots for almost two decades. Fabulous ambiance, friendly service and delicious offerings of traditional Tuscan fare. If you&rsquo;re staying in the area, don&rsquo;t miss this local favorite!

Very nice ambience, very nice reception. Unfortunately, the service staff sometimes spoke very quickly, rather indistinctly and quietly, which is a tiresome issue in many gourmet restaurants in Italy - but not in all of them.The wine wasn&#39;t topped up, even when asked, the sommelier was too busy and the other staff didn&#39;t hear or ignored our request.The white wine (Paleo bianco) was fantastic, we topped it up ourselves.The sommelier couldn&#39;t find the selected Spanish red wine (Ambrossar 2013) after a long search, we then drank a Pinot Noir at the very end, with dessert, unfortunately the wine wasn&#39;t so nice, and we also had to pour it ourselves again. When paying, I saw (found) the wine I hadn&#39;t found in the wine cellar itself, it was standing by the window (see photo) .... .All in all, service and sommelier not up to scratch, food very good.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

My son and I first found La Patriarca one sunny afternoon in 2007, and it quickly became a family favorite. The location (3 minutes from the exit of the autostrada and across the road from the cinema) was super convenient, the staff always kind and generous, and the traditional southern Tuscan food, simply delicious. For 9 years, we were happy, regular diners there. I am so so happy to write that La Patriarca hasn&#39;t changed a bit! Walked in to find the wood-fired grill ablaze, the waitress remembered my face (even though I&#39;m 7 years older!) and the steak and roasted potatoes still as yummy and satisfying as I last remembered. It isn&#39;t fancy (that&#39;s Il Salotto upstairs) but it is exactly what typical cooking of the Val di Chiana should taste like.  Absolutely recommended !!!

This restaurant offers a unique blend of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist. The pici al rag&ugrave; was outstanding, and the homemade desserts were a delightful finish to the meal.

The service was first class! We did not expect such amazing service and we even bought some bottles to go after learning about how it is made and the region it is from. The wine specialist really knows his wine and his recommendations were on point AND he spoke English. We don&rsquo;t expect people to be able to speak English but when they do it really helps! The food was amazingly prepared and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant on the beautiful grounds of the hotel.

We are a family of 5, staying not far from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. This was recommended by our hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was delicious. We were able to sit outside and celebrate my husbands birthday. Grazie

The pork special with pasta, as well as the mixed grill &amp; wonderful roast potatoes, were all equally good, along with the delicious Rossi di Montalcino red house wine. You can&rsquo;t go wrong with house wine this good!

This little restaurant full of only locals was a great find. The food was very good and Marco could not have been a better host. While there does seem to be some front of house issues to address (service was very slow due to being understaffed) the kindness of the staff is genuine and infectious.Everything we had from appetizers, to seafood, to pasta to pizza was fantastic! Highly recommend this hard to find little spot.

We had the most delightful lunch here. Small vegetarian tasting menu that was really excellent, and worthy of copying some of the key ideas. On a nice day, the setting is truly amazing, and whisks one away to another era on the porch of an elegant Tuscan estate. We loved it. In fact, it was the highlight of the visit to Montepulciano as a whole.

A fantastic setting for our family dinner. We came from Borgo San Luigi. The wine was fantastic and the food, every course, was absolutely delicious. Typical Italian dishes with so much flavour. The cold cuts to start, were perfect and a great selection. The papadelle ragu and the ravioli on the specials were incredible. The lamb chops main were possibly the best lamb chops I&rsquo;ve ever had. Our waiter was great. All round definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a fabulous evening.

What stood out at this excellent restaurant in the picturesque Radha in Chianti was the knowledgeable waiter who guided us to a perfect food and wine match.

Very good for, service and price. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only bad was the bread they gave because of the mandatory couperto.

The venue is amazing and we were lucky as the restaurant was offering a full tasty menu for Eur 35, including a bottle of vino novello. It was definitely a great experience!
