Food is very good, but they didn&#39;t have our reservation, left us in a very small table saying there was a reservation for the other one, but no one showed up. Service not so good

Totally delicious! The chef must cook with a lot of passion to get such amazing dishes! The ambiance is also very pleasant and the crew efficient and professional. All in all we will come back for sure!

Everything was perfect-from the service to the ambiance and mostly the food.  Probably the best Tom Yum soup I have ever had.  The dishes were large and the flavours were complex a d delicious.  If you are in Nijmegen, you have to eat here.

We had expected a rowdy atmosphere at king&#39;s day, but the restaurant was nice and not loud at all 😀. The service was friendly and enthused, and the food original and tasty. Portions were exactly right and less expensive than you would expect for the quality. So all in all a very positive surprise!

The setting is atmospheric and historic. The staff was welcoming. We arrived early for our reservation and were easily seated. The meal was of good quality, the bread basket was generous, both meat and fish dishes were delicious. The restaurant was festively decorated for the Christmas holiday.

Delicious food! One of my favorite places in Nijmegen. Friendly staff and fantastic vegan/veggie options. Love this place.

Shrimp Starter was good. I had a steak for my main course. Not the best steak I have ever had. The desert was ok. Service was nice. Good atmospheres.

We ordered a 4-course &quot;surprise&quot; vegetarian menu. The courses were not surprising at all, they were simply the vegetarian options that were on the menu. What a disappointment. The first course was beet carpaccio covered in oil that tasted like smoked salmon. My partner doesn&#39;t like beets, but that wasn&#39;t the kitchen&#39;s fault. When the server asked us why we hadn&#39;t eaten the starter, my partner said that he didin&#39;t like beets. Then the next course came: one tiny overcooked (store-bought?) gyoza with - yep, you guessed it - the same beet puree with &quot;smoked salmon flavor&quot; that was on the previous plate. What a shame. The server should not have allowed the kitchen to put the beet puree on our plates after we had indicated that it wasn&#39;t to our liking. The truffle risotto that came after that was a welcome change, but it was nothing special and the combination of dishes didn&#39;t make any sense. It was clear that this kitchen is not at all at home in vegetarian cooking. The couple sitting next to us said that their food (not veggie) was okay, but the portions were so tiny that they were still hungry and the food took far too long to arrive. The servers were polite and did their best, but we will not be back.

Pleasant grand cafe / brasserie style restaurant with good food and friendly staff. The only recommendation/advice for this restaurant would be to think about the layout of the restaurant as it is not logically laid out, few &#39;corners&#39; have been created for guests.

An inconspicuous quiet restaurant in Nijmegen. A little fiddly to park as there is no dedicated parking lot with the restaurant. We went for our 20 years wedding anniversary and ordered 4 course dinner with accompanying wine for me. The front part of the restaurant is quiet and classy. We were sat at bay window against the street. It is quite chilly due to single glazed windows and the the heater is not on yet. The service is excellent. The waiters are very frendly,  attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. The wine suited the taste of every dish. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Amazing food, my partner and I already went many times. Often busy, better to book in advance. I didn&#39;t give the max because the tables are very close to each other and we were really tight.

We enjoyed our evening at this local restaurant on a great corner spot about 10 mins walk from our hotel in the opposite direction to the city centre. Prices were very reasonable and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. Wine and beer were both top notch and for many this is a place for a quality drink rather than a meal. Service was friendly and helpful. No ability to pay with Visa or Mastercard was the main black mark (10 mins walk to an ATM) however we enjoyed our meal and evening overall.

I had a wonderful dining experience with a three-course meal that was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The atmosphere was pleasant, and there was something for everyone in our group.

So Many choice of food. We were the only ones who were having dinner here. Feel so sad for them. The only thing that I wish the waiter speaks better English to explain things.. I ordered things wrongly because it was not explained well .. he does not speak Dutch neither

Honestly, it is my one of favorite restaurant. No complaint till now. Food, quality, service, ambiance .. all i like very much.

Food was Fine (for the discounted price)full price I wouldn`t go here as there basic meals or to high for what you get.we sat outside and the street is very busy and almost dangerous with all the uber/justeat biker couriers.we ate spareribs which where fine and way better than &quot;de beren&quot;.Not great but definitely not bad.

A Lot of potential, energy and place is gorgeous. Service super good, only the food was a bit pretentious, a lot of techniques involve in the dish but without the mastery that request. Must be a new team back from covid closure. Then again, love the place and definitely a come back one.

Amazing food with outstanding vegetarian and vegan options! Probably the best vegan menu I&rsquo;ve ever tried, making it a must-visit for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Everything is freshly homemade and bursting with flavor. Plus, the Caribbean cocktails are fantastic!

I live in England and visited family and friends last year March. We had a dinner on this restaurant then. It was without hesitating to return here for a second time. This time it again the expensive was impressive, the waiting staff, the food, the admosphere., all very impressive

We were welcomed in a very friendly and warm manner even though we were the only customers on a Tuesday evening at 21:00. Even though is not the habitual time for dinner for the Dutch people, we received a very nice service and meal. We ordered a salad and Kebapcici as main course. The portion was very generous, we could not finish it. Everything was delicious, thank you! 🙏

A quiet and hidden place in the middle of woods, and the food is nicely presented. It would be nicer to have more choices for lunch, but will definitely come back for a dinner!

Amazing small restaurant in Den Bosch.  We really enjoyed this really fine dining restaurant. The service is just excellent, even done with passion. Great wine list wit the possibility to paire your disch to the wine. We choose for the Coquille and the Monkfish as main course. Our wines were saint Veran white and Santenay for the red both gorgeous. What a great experience

Very tasty, flavourful food as usual.  The waiting time was a bit too long(45mins), perhaps because the restaurant was at full capacity. The hosts were kind and pleasant.

Food is great and service was good, however we find it unpleasant when you have to sit for 10-15 minutes before you get a drink or menu offered.
