We had dinner on a Monday night so it was understandably very quiet with only a few other diners but we enjoyed our dinners and the chocolate dessert was especially delicious. Could not speak to the views, as it was dark outside, but the woman who served us was very nice and attentive. If you are coming from the south on Via di Santa Caterina, know that this road/walkway alongside the restaurant is closed for construction (at least when we went in late March 2024) and you&rsquo;ll need to walk all the way around the small village (about 5 min walk) to get to the restaurant entrance. So just be prepared for that or plan to come from the north on Via di Santa Caterina.

We had an amazing dinner at Le Terre de Cavalieri. So good in fact, we went back the day after. It is a lovely setting in an old farmhouse. The employees and chef are very friendly and hospitality is their brand. Last but definitely not least, the food is fantastic. A gorgeous mix of classic Italian with new flavours. Both fish and meat are great, but as the chef himself says: &ldquo;he was born with his feet in the water&rdquo;. A must see and taste for every foodie

We had the most delightful lunch here. Small vegetarian tasting menu that was really excellent, and worthy of copying some of the key ideas. On a nice day, the setting is truly amazing, and whisks one away to another era on the porch of an elegant Tuscan estate. We loved it. In fact, it was the highlight of the visit to Montepulciano as a whole.

The owner is warm, friendly, and a phenomenal host. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again and if we had time, we would come back again and again! The food is authentic Italian and delicious!!

Despite some mixed reviews, I found this restaurant to be a hidden gem. The pizza was among the best I&#39;ve had in Italy, and the overall value for the meal was impressive.

Great view!! The staff were super friendly and attentive and a lot of fun. Loved my seafood pasta dish. We started with a drink called a Negroni which our bartender/server/host made two different ways with two different gins. They were both delicious and lasted the whole meal and gave us a lovely buzz. I&rsquo;d go back again for sure, for the food and just to see the staff again they were so nice.

This restaurant is a gem in Castellina! The food is excellent, especially the lasagna and truffle pasta. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal.

Dining at Tosca is a magical experience! The food and sommelier were excellent, but the service truly made the night memorable.

A lovely setting in the grounds of the hotel. We were offered a table inside or outside on the terrace. A warm still April evening made that choice an easy one. The menu is  marvellously creative and the food beautifully presented; spinach and mushroom ice cream as accompaniments to dishes? Yes really! Every dish was delicious. Wine by the (generous) glass if that&rsquo;s all you want. Lovely friendly, polite and jovial service. Cannot fault the whole evening. Superb.
