the ambience, scenery, location, setting is a 5 stars for sure.. the food was good but my only deception was the cod fish..  the menu should have emphasised this was not fresh cod but salted cod.  The server did mention the dish was salty but there&#39;s a huge difference between being salty and not fresh fish.   That part of the meal completely threw  us off of what could have been an exceptional experience.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is lovely, especially the terrace for outdoor dining. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.

Exceptional food (probably the best in the valley) and location as ever. Service took time to get going and was a bit patchy. Communication in English to Portuguese was also a barrier.

Great food, really affordable compared to Lisbon. Waiter was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our experience. We were there on Sunday dinner, there was only one other table and they left shorty around 8.30, restaurant opened at 8pm, so we were the only customers

from the way the wonderful house manager Antonio met us at the little parking spot next to the restaurant, to the wonderful property they have, to the food and presentation, to the wonderful WI es and Antonio&#39;s expertise in pairings, everything was superb with tonight&#39;s dinner.

Excellent service with a funny staff. Food very tasty and in large portions.The room had the AC off and it was very hot. Better try the 1st floor room.Suggestion: book in advance ????
