The carvery at Toby Carvery is a treat, especially the Yorkshire pudding. The staff are friendly and create a welcoming environment for all guests.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is lovely, and the food is usually top-notch. I appreciate the effort the staff put into making sure everything runs smoothly.

I&rsquo;ve been eating at Toby Horsforth for years and have never had a problem with any of the carvery meals there. The staff have always been professional so I can&rsquo;t knock anything at all.

First time here for many years. Great food, great service and good selection of beer&#39;s etconly one grumble, ordered a side dish of Dauphinoise potato&#39;s somewhere around the &pound;3 mark. they arrived welded into a small ramakin dish and nice as they were there wasn&#39;t much more than a desert spoon full. Otherwise very happy an would recommend.

A get together with a friend, lovely Sunday lunch. Pub very busy. We booked our table which I would recommend. Our waitress  was great, very attentive. The manager looked stressed! When extra tables had to be sorted out. Food very nice, hot and plentiful. I&rsquo;d recommend Toby&rsquo;s but Sunday is incredibly busy not that made our meal any less pleasant. Well with a visit.

Really friendly service.  The carvery was all quite fresh, gammon turkey pork beef and lamb to choose from.  Vegetables were good especially roast potatoes, we will definitely be back!

The staff at Slug and Lettuce are exceptional! Lucy provided speedy and friendly service, making our visit truly memorable.

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Shameless behaviour of the senior staffWe advance booked a table with Nawab&rsquo;s, Huddersfield and arrived on time. We placed our order and started waiting for the food. My dad noticed the four clocks on the wall with different world city names and none of them was working. He mentioned that to a waiter and he just didn&rsquo;t have any answer. In the meantime the restaurant manager (Ash) came and in told my dad to bring the batteries and we&rsquo;ll fix them, making fun of my dad&rsquo;s point. He also added that people have mobile phones these days and the restaurant doesn&rsquo;t really care about the clocks. When I spoke to him again complaining his unprofessional and rude response to my dad he argued with me and told us to leave the restaurant and that they are not serving usSurely we would ourselves not like to eat at a place where the staff doesn&rsquo;t have manners to speak to elderly people (my dad, aged 78)We left the place and would never recommend anyone to eat in there or at least expect respectful behaviour from the staffShame for them👎🏼

I had a lovely Mother&#39;s Day visit at The Sovereign. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, and the attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable.
