The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is a Chinese wonder famous for the Great Wall, and has a history of more than 2,500 years. The ancient canal section that runs through Wuxi City is the most south of the Yangtze River, with Wuqiao passing through the West Water Dun, South Gate to Qingming Bridge. Qingming Bridge is located at the intersection of the ancient canal and Bodu Port outside the south gate, and is the best attraction in Wuxi section of the ancient canal.
