A true English style garden located in the outskirts of Vancouver city. The atmosphere of the Queen Elizabeth Park is something quiescent and peaceful in contrast to the active and lively personality of Stanley Park. There are plenty of smaller areas to explore in this beautiful English garden, the floral arrangement and landscaping of the Quarry garden is immuculate, the Bloedel Conservatory (dome-like structure) is an indoor tropical garden for plants and provides an enclosed environment for various bird species to freely fly around. The Bloedel itself is located in a plaza with the Dancing Waters fountain which puts on lighted night shows. The view from the top overlooking the Vancouver city is also gorgeous.
