Cu Lao Thoi Son, Attractive Garden Ecotourism Area Tien Giang is a province with strengths in garden eco-tourism in the Mekong Delta region. Among them, Thoi Son island with its typical ecosystem of the Western river region is a Tien Giang tourist destination not to be missed. Thoi Son island, also known as Lan island, located in Thoi Hoa hamlet, Thoi Son commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang province, is considered the precious gem of the Tien River. Covering the entire dune is an immense green color, with an intricate system of ditches and canals, fertile land, and luxuriant fruit trees in all four seasons, making it an ideal tourist destination in the West. Thoi Son Islet is the largest of the four dunes on this section of the river, with an area of about 1,200 hectares, and is considered the most harmonious of the Four Sacred Cones (Long - Lan - Quy - Phung). Although located on the same river, Thoi Son Islet and Tan Long Islet (Long Islet) belong to My Tho city, Tien Giang province; Quy and Phung islands belong to Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province. According to history, Cu Lao Thoi Son - My Tho is also the land associated with the spring event of 1785, the cloth-shirted hero Nguyen Hue achieved a glorious victory, destroying 50,000 Siamese invaders. During the resistance war against the imperialists, Con Thoi Son marked the victories of the Western army and people with a battle belt surrounding the Dong Tam base, creating the once famous Binh Duc victory. Previously, the people of Con Thoi Son mainly lived by fishing and aquaculture, along with growing fruit trees in rotation, producing many delicious fruits such as: longan, sapoke, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, durian, bananas, jackfruit, mango... Later, people on the dune developed beekeeping for honey, some households also made puff cakes, rice paper, coconut candy, jam, handicraft items... to serve customers. Come to Tien Giang to visit and learn.. The name Con Thoi Son also has an ancient house, with typical Southern architecture, with three rooms and two wings, yin-yang tiled roofs, and columns made of precious wood. Inside the house, the decoration is also in the ancient style with a sparkling mother-of-pearl altar cabinet, exquisitely carved sofas, and a pair of tureens carved with parallel sentences painted in red and gilded gold. Hon Thom Cable Car - Sun World Hon Thom is a three-rope over-sea sightseeing cable car connecting An Thoi at the southern tip of Phu Quoc Island with Hon Thom. Spanning nearly eight kilometers, it is one of the few long-distance over-sea cable cars in the world. Departing from the Phu Quoc Island side, the cable car passes over several small islands on the sea before finally arriving at Hon Thom, with a one-way journey of about fifteen minutes. The cable car operates on a three-rope system, and its cabins are equipped with large glass windows, allowing passengers to enjoy a 360-degree aerial view of the azure sea below, the scattered pristine islets, and the distant skyline. As the cable car gradually moves away from land and out over the sea, the view transitions from nearshore reefs to the open ocean, and on clear days the layered variations in the color of the water are especially distinct. Suspended between sea and sky, the cable car glides slowly forward, with dotted fishing boats occasionally visible below.
