Niuheliang Archaeological Site is located at the junction of Lingyuan City and Jianping County. It is named after the Mangniu River, which originates from the eastern foothills of the mountain ridge, and features a landscape that is half mountainous and half hilly. The entire site is nestled within thousands of acres of pine forests, which remain evergreen throughout the winter and summer, offering fresh air, a serene environment, and a preserved primitive appearance.Niuheliang Archaeological Site is situated on a series of mountain ridges stretching over 10 km in the mountainous region of western Liaoning. Across an area of 50 sq km of rolling hills, altars, the Goddess Temple, and groups of stone-cairn tombs are distributed in an orderly fashion, forming a grand religious sacrificial center. Within the well-arranged stone-cairn tombs, burials are classified into several levels centered around large tombs, with jade artifacts as the only burial goods. The primary types include realistic yet deified animal-shaped jade ornaments such as pig dragons, bear dragons, phoenix birds, and turtles; horseshoe-shaped jade hoops open at both ends; and cloud-shaped jade pendants decorated with patterns that appear and disappear with changing light. These, along with rows of painted pottery cylindrical vessels erected on the stone-cairn tombs, were tools used by the tomb owners to communicate with the divine. The Goddess Temple, stone-cairn tombs, and large earthen platform architectural sites are the representative structures of the Niuheliang Archaeological Site. These three site points are distributed along a north-south axis according to the mountain terrain. The altar, temple, and tomb form a trinity, grand in scale and imposing, serving as a high-level sacrificial center for the Hongshan culture. It provides rich physical evidence for the study of the origins of the 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization, the activities of representative figures such as the Yellow Emperor in the north during ancient times, as well as the history of religion, architecture, and art.

Chaoyang Beita Museum is located on Beita Square at the north end of Murong Street. It is a modern Buddhist culture and art museum built on the basis of Chaoyang Beita, a national key cultural relic protection unit. In order to further improve the viewing level, Chaoyang Beita Museum has now been completely renovated and has exhibited many sets of precious historical materials for the first time. The museum's cultural relics are displayed in four parts. The first is the preface hall of the ground exhibition area, the photo exhibition of China's famous towers and Chaoyang Ancient Tower, etc. The second is the underground exhibition area of the Northern Wei Dynasty "Si Yan Buddha Picture" sand table, Beita Five Generations Living Together Cultural Relics Exhibition, Beita Fine Cultural Relics Exhibition and Beita Stone Carving Cultural Relics Exhibition; the third is the "Light of Buddha" special exhibition, which mainly includes the Buddha's relics offerings and the relics exploration special exhibition; the fourth is the Beita exhibition area, which mainly includes the Beita historical painting exhibition, Beita historical relics exhibition, brick carving art exhibition, etc. Looking at the domestic and foreign, although there are only a few hundred cultural relics on display in Beita Museum, each of them is priceless, and is priceless in history, science, and art. Many cultural relics, such as the Qibao Pagoda and Persian glass bottles, are the best in the province, the country, and even the world. In recent years, with the increasing popularity of our city at home and abroad, Beita Museum has become an important window for Chaoyang to open up to the outside world. Through this museum, visitors can understand the profound and long-standing culture and history of Yandu Longcheng. In order to better promote Chaoyang's history and culture, in early 2009, Beita Museum decided to re-exhibit the cultural relics in the museum. After scientific and reasonable planning and classification, Beita Museum has now been completely re-exhibited. After the new exhibition, the Beita Museum's ground exhibition area has added an ancient pagoda encyclopedia exhibition area, multiple sets of multimedia demonstration instruments, projection equipment, etc. Compared with the original Chinese Famous Pagodas and Chaoyang Ancient Pagodas Photo Exhibition, the Ancient Pagoda Encyclopedia Exhibition Area is more detailed and detailed. It lists the representative ancient pagoda pictures from all over the country one by one, and gives key analysis in text, and even has extremely precious photos of the original Lingxiao Pagoda of Fenghuang Mountain Temple. In order to let tourists have a more intuitive understanding of Chaoyang, Beita Museum, under the guidance of experts from the Provincial Institute of Archaeology, has remade the Chaoyang City Sand Table and Sanyan Dragon City Sand Table in the late Qing Dynasty based on historical materials and archaeological discoveries in recent years. Visitors can take a look at the glorious years of the ancient Dragon City. Beita Museum also has a brand new exhibition in the underground exhibition hall. To facilitate tourists' visits, the museum will reclassify and display the exhibited cultural relics according to the time of excavation and mutual relationship. For example, the three treasures of the Liao Dynasty Seven Treasures Pagoda, the Wooden Silver Coffin, and the Golden Relic Pagoda are displayed together; the three national treasures of the Persian glass bottle, the gilded silver pagoda, and the gold and silver sutra pagoda are displayed separately; various jades and brick carvings unearthed from the Beita are classified and displayed, and magnifying glasses and other equipment are set up in front of the fine jades to facilitate tourists to watch carefully; the special exhibition area of the Relic Exploration has also added relevant content to make it more detailed. The Beita Museum also provides visitors with many sets of precious historical materials, such as the photos of the Siyan Buddha statue base during the archaeological excavation, the Beita Tiangong photos, and the Beita Tiangong archaeological excavation photos, which are extremely rare. After the new exhibition, the Beita Museum has a new look and is more attractive.

In my hometown of Chaoyang, this is my absolute favorite tourist attraction. If I could, I'd like to visit it every year. I grew up looking at these dinosaur fossils, and my love for them has only grown stronger with age. Seeing the park improve so much, with its modern facilities and increasingly exquisite exhibits, truly makes me very happy. This is absolutely a fossil park that I, as a resident of Chaoyang, can be genuinely proud of.

At Phoenix Mountain in Chaoyang, take an electric cart from the mountain gate to the lower temple (Yanshou Temple), and then visit Yanshou Temple, Tianqing Temple, Yunjie Temple, and Huayan Temple in sequence. The entire tour takes nearly two hours and is perfect for outdoor exercise!

The ruins park is very large, and you need to take a scenic bus to visit the four exhibition halls. The exhibitions and ruins tell and show the glory of the ancient civilization. The exquisite jade, altars, temples and tombs from 5,000 years ago have a profound impact on later generations. There are currently scheduled buses from Jianping Station to the city, but there are not many buses. It costs 30 yuan to take a taxi from the city. The transportation is indeed not very convenient, and there are not many tourists. You need to ask and confirm locally during non-holidays and off-seasons. Personally, I think: Friends who like ancient monuments and history, it is worth visiting this ruins and museum.

The Chaoyang Museum is definitely worth a visit. It boasts a large collection of cultural relics, including some national first-class cultural relics, and has a rich cultural heritage. The gold hairpin is dazzling, and the Hongshan Goddess statue is absolutely stunning. It's a wonderful experience. Remember to hire a guide for a more direct and intuitive understanding of the artifacts.

When visiting Chaoyang City, the North Pagoda, known as the "Number One Pagoda in Northeast China," is a must-see attraction. Built during the Northern Wei Dynasty, the North Pagoda is a thirteen-tiered, multi-eaved brick pagoda, the only ancient pagoda in the world to have existed for five generations. Among the more than a thousand precious artifacts unearthed from the pagoda are two relics of the Buddha Shakyamuni. The Liao Dynasty stone sutra pillar in the underground palace is also known as the "Number One Stone Sutra Pillar in Northeast China." The North Pagoda is now a landmark attraction in Chaoyang City and a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Dahei Mountain is the first mountain in southern Liaoning. It is 663.1 meters above sea level and the highest peak in the suburbs of Dalian. Standing on the main peak, you can overlook the main urban area of Dalian! You can see two seas (Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea) from one mountain. The rocks of Dahei Mountain are ancient. The rock layers are composed of three parts from top to bottom: the mountain belongs to 800 million to 600 million years ago [quartzite of the Sinian Period], which constitutes the majestic and steep main peak of Dahei Mountain. There is also [marble] in the mountain. Due to the influence of structure, some have developed into "water-absorbing stones" commonly used for bonsai. The lower part of the mountain belongs to the 2.5 billion-year-old [metamorphic rock system of the Archean], which forms [mylonite] under the action of push shear force. What is mylonite? Mylonite is a porridge-like rock, which is the oldest rock and stratum in Dalian. This also makes the stratum age difference between the lower part of the mountain and the surrounding plains hundreds of millions and tens of millions of years.

A large number of jade articles were unearthed at the Niuheliang Hongshan Culture Site. The Niuheliang people believed that jade could communicate with the gods. In the vast stone mounds here, the changes in the specifications of jade articles buried with the dead are mainly reflected in the custom of "burying only with jade".

Because of the epidemic, the temple is closed, but you can see devout believers still kneeling at the door to worship. There is a very large square outside the temple with a good environment, and it is also very good to take a walk.
