Our guide was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of history about Lucerne and culture of the area, in addition to the wine and cheese tasting. When reading this tour, I found the description about the castle confusing. You will to an area near the edge of town (or away from tourist section), and take a large elevator up the mountain to the castle, which is now a hotel. There you’ll be able to hang out on the veranda and take beautiful photos of Lucerne. We happened to have a gorgeous sunny day. Given this, the activities, and great guide (Luz) we had a great time!Trip.com Picks
