Michael is an excellent, knowledgeable guide who speaks impeccable English and led us on a relaxed, stress-free tour of the Philae Temple and Unfinished Obelisk. He did a great job explaining the deeper meanings of the artwork inside the temple, and walked us through the history very well. Aswan is a calm, peaceful oasis by the Nile that's full of fascinating history. I highly recommend you have Michael take you around the sights.

I enjoyed this tour between the transfer time from Abu Simbel to Cairo. I was picked up at Aswan Airport and sent back. It is convenient for me to go to some of the main tourism place for a short time. But it might be kind to make clear that extra rate is needed if someone takes pick-up and drop-off service from and to the airport both. (I agree to be charged because the airport is far.)

Went with EMO Tours and the guide Samir Faber for a half-day trip around Aswan. Samir was a very knowledgeable person who could give detailed information about the schedule. We visited the unfinished Obelisk, the old and new high dam and last the old temple of Phiae. Everything worked well and it was a fabulous morning!
