▲ Juyongguan Great Wall is a famous ancient pass along the Great Wall north of Beijing, and a national-level cultural relic protection unit. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot as rated by the Beijing Tourism Bureau. It is located in a canyon 20 kilometers north of Changping District.

▲ The Juyongguan Great Wall is built in a valley that stretches for 15 kilometers. The mountains on both sides are overlapping, with lush trees and blooming wildflowers, creating a magnificent landscape. As early as the Jin Dynasty 800 years ago, it was listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing and was called "Juyong Diecui".

▲ Juyongguan Pass is the northern gateway to Beijing, possessing the imposing air of "one man can hold the pass against ten thousand." At the center of Juyongguan Pass stands a beautifully carved white marble platform called "Yuntai." During the Yuan Dynasty, three stone pagodas were built on the platform, but they were destroyed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. After the destruction of the three pagodas, a temple called "Taian Temple" was built on the platform. This temple was destroyed by fire during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, leaving only the base—the Yuntai.
