Reviews: London: London Eye, River Cruise, & Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour
Guest User2026-03-30
The London Eye was great. It's best to go first thing in the morning, then take the boat trip and then the hop-on hop-off buses. Unfortunately, the buses were full three times and we had to wait a long time. Afterwards, there was a lot of traffic and it took us about an hour longer. But otherwise, highly recommended.

Benedict Martin is a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, full of excellent anecdotes relating to the historical places and the famous people associated with those sites. He has a delightful sense of humor which enlivened the whole walk. My daughter and I found ourselves chuckling from time to time at his wry commentary about some of the foibles, noteworthy aspects, or eccentricities of some of the historical entities along our walk. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Even though we had had only four hours of sleep the night before, we did not feel sleepy or bored at any point. He is a treasure. P.S. Hi Benedict, we at the Indian and Indian-American mother-daughter pair from Boston! Thank you!

My boyfriend, our 11-year-old son, and I had our tour with Owen. And even though our English isn't great, Owen showed us lots of amazing places and was always there with a great sense of humor and fun facts. The really special thing was that the road leading over Tower Bridge was closed for our tour. Owen? Didn't you manage to arrange that for us? 😉 And because we don't know how else to let you know: Dear Owen, thank you for the tour and we wish you a belated happy birthday. We hope you were duly celebrated! 🥳
