Start from Melbourne and travel west to begin the Great Ocean Road tour, passing through several small towns along the highway.
The first stop is the London Arch, a natural rock formation shaped by the ocean.
Continue to Loch Ard Gorge, where you can walk around and see nearby formations such as the Archway, the Razorback, and the Dumpling Pots. Learn about the famous shipwreck that occurred here.
Next, visit Port Campbell National Park to see the 12 Apostles. Arrive earlier in the day to avoid crowds and have time to walk along the boardwalks and take photos.
Travel through Great Otway National Park and stop in Apollo Bay for lunch (at your own expense) and a short break.
After lunch, stop at the Memorial Arch at Eastern View for photos. Return to Melbourne by highway, arriving around 20:00.
