We selected a Chinese driver, Mr. Fan, to take us around Sapporo. He was very friendly and helpful, explaining the details of various attractions along the way. He drove carefully and safely throughout the trip. We had a wonderful time.

The trip was nice although the call time at the end was much earlier than what I expected, which made me want to stay in Otaru longer. Also, I felt like the guide was quite pushy with buying some of the products (horse oil) at the stopover. Anyhow, the guide was quite nice to explain both stuff in English and in Mandarin, and he was responsive with my questions and requests to take photos, so the trip was okay. By the way, for this trip, it’s more of a you-go-around kind, so don’t expect the tour guide to show you all of the stuff.

Wonderful tour and great snowmobiling experience (JPY20000/2 pax/snowmobile or JPY15000/pax/snowmobile, extra payment in cash only). Get to taste some local farms milk-based products (yogurt, pudding and gelato). A great trip!
