Things to do in Osaka

Osaka is a port city on Japan’s southern Honshu coast. Once a merchant hub in the Edo period, it’s now a modern center of trade, entertainment, and culinary culture. Osaka weather shifts from steamy summers to cool winters, so there’s always a good time to visit. There’s no shortage of exciting things to do in Osaka. Snap photos at Osaka Castle, catch cherry blossoms in spring, and dive into the thrills at Universal Studios Japan and Teamlab Osaka. A big thumbs up to Uncle Big Head on WeChat on February 24th! He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. All three attractions are traditional and representative, rich in local culture and history. Uncle Big Head deserves high praise for his itinerary planning.

I felt this was a truly heartwarming trip to Kyoto! From the magnificent golden splendor of Kinkaku-ji to the thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, every stop was breathtaking and thought-provoking. The tour guide was knowledgeable, articulate, and incredibly attentive, patiently answering all our questions.

Guide Oh Seok-bong is the best!! He gave such fun and informative explanations, and guided us well at every location, so we were able to enjoy and see everything there was to see. It was a tour worth every single penny. I took my parents, and they were both satisfied and loved it, which makes me so happy. I sincerely recommend it!!

Our guide Liu San is fantastic. He can speak English, Mandarin and Japanese fluently. He can explain the history of the check point, must-do or must-try and matter to be careful information regarding of each check point. For example, beaware with the black kite eagle while feeding the seagulls. In addition, Liu San is very organized as he communicated with us before the trip via WhatsApp and messaged us during the trip regarding the gathering time at each check point and itinerary and information of the check point. We enjoyed the day out a lot.

The arrangement of the attractions was quite compact and reasonable. The only regret was that the tour guide was not very professional and proactive, and there was basically no professional explanation.
