Reviews: Copenhagen: The Royal Danish Theatre Guided Tour

Our guide, Hilary, was awesome! Made the 75 minutes flew by. Absolutely recommend this tour (seeing the backstages, the scene and everything in between). A tour you must do when in Copenhagen.
Reviews: Copenhagen Hop-on Hop-Off Bus with Boat Option

I like open top sightseeing buses, especially if your trip is brief. They provide a great overview of a place and the opportunity to see far more than you could fit in by foot or public transport. I'm particularly pleased that I chose this company. Do make sure to look for the buses labelled 'red' sightseeing tour bus and not the 'city' ones. Maps and earphones for the commentary are provided. There is only one route but it has 22 stops and covers all the main sights. The bus stopped two minutes away from my hotel (stop 4 outside The Marriott Hotel) which was really convenient. The drivers were all friendly and clearly called out every stop so that you never wondered where you were. The buses were regular, seats were usually available, and there were a few stops (e.g Little Mermaid, Gefion Fountain) with a brief wait allowing you to get off and take a quick photo. Stop 8 is where you get off for the boat tour. There is a company office right outside where I had to go and exchange my online voucher for a boat ticket . It's a straightforward 3 minute walk to catch the boat. Don't be too put off if the queue appears to be very long. Our boat was a very large catamaran and as people embarked the queue went down very quickly. The guide was really friendly and informative and I'd reallly recommend buying the combined bus/boat ticket which was great value.
Reviews: 2 Hour Copenhagen Segway Tour
Guest User2024-09-11
We arranged this tour to coincide with a cruise port stop in Copenhagen. My communications via email with the tour company were excellent and we were given instructions on how to find them. Our ship docked at Ocean Quay which required us to take a taxi to their storefront. If your cruise docks at Langelinie pier they are within walking distance. Our guide, Anders, introduced himself and then got us set up. We were four riders who had all been on Segways before, joined by two others who were first timers. This was my husband and my 16th Segway tour as we love them and have done them all over the world wherever and whenever we can. Anders gave a brief training, explaining the pitfalls of curbs, balance, etc. and observed each of us riding. He asked my husband if he would wear an orange vest and be the anchor at the end of the line for the tour as he saw he was an experienced rider. We were provided headsets for communication and Anders provided interesting commentary and helpful instructions throughout the tour. I will say that of all the tours we have done to date, this one did have more challenges as you were traversing very busy bike paths, sidewalks and city streets at times. We were fine with it, but I think it might have been daunting to more inexperienced riders. We were provided with a break at a nice cafe that offered free water and a place to sit for a moment to rest our feet and legs. At the conclusion of the tour we were given cookies and water and a “drivers license” as a souvenir of the experience. Overall it was a great way to experience the city and learn some of the history and culture of Copenhagen. I would definitely recommend this company.
