A fantastic itinerary – from porcelain (it felt like being in Europe), to temples (the views from the top were amazing), torii gates, experiencing traditional hot springs, and of course, a library. Our guide, Yang Meng, was also excellent :-) Her English is fluent, and she took great care of the group. Her photography skills are superb too :-)★

I took this tour during a 10 hour layover at Narita airport. Sara and Yama were excellent hosts. I got delayed reaching our meeting point due to delays at immigration and a wait for the train to Narita city. I had let them know about the delay and they very kindly waited for me. In my hurry to get to the meeting point, I forgot to put my backpack in a locker at the airport. Yama helped me do that at the train station (and retrieve it on our return!) We walked along Ometosando street to the Narita-san temple where we were able to attend a Buddhist prayer service. After the service, we toured the temple gardens which were a delight, with Yama pointing out garden features. On our walk back to the train station Yama and Sara waited patiently while I picked up a few souvenirs. As advertised, I was brought back to the train station in 3 hours and given directions to return back to the airport. For someone who has been doing this for a short time, they did a great job★
