The views get better as you climb. The guide carefully explains safety procedures. I chose the intermediate level, but it requires a certain level of physical fitness. I didn't realize that transfers were included when booking in Japanese, but they did provide transfers to the town of Wanaka. By chance, someone from the Queenstown tourist information center contacted me and told me about the transfers.★

What a wonderful experience to visit Mt Aspiring and Glaciers. The staff were so helpful and communication was excellent. The pilot was very experienced and we had the most spectacular views when we landed on a couple of glaciers. An absolutely unforgettable experience.
