Fun day, there was enough time to enjoy each stop. Our tour guide Zero was very helpful. She gave clear instructions, was very cheerful and took lots of photos for us. Also introduced us to local specialties and was very accommodating to everyone's needs throughout the day and during lunch

Before the holiday, I kept checking the weather forecast and saw a chance of snow on January 27th, so I specifically planned to visit some attractions. Unfortunately, it didn't snow that day. Our tour guide, HaKim, contacted us the day before to confirm the departure time and location for the next morning, and even sent us a selfie – very thoughtful! In the morning, with temperatures around -7 degrees Celsius, the guide arrived 10 minutes early. After we recognized each other, we set off for another stop to pick up the rest of our group. (We were originally supposed to board together at the same stop, but to make it easier for the other group members, the guide went directly to the nearest station to pick them up.) We were a small group with only 6 people (the other four were a family of four), so a 9-seater vehicle was just right. The interior was spacious and comfortable, but the roads in the suburbs were quite bumpy, and some attractions were quite far apart. Those prone to motion sickness should prepare motion sickness medication beforehand. Our first stop was Yufei Valley. It turns out the glacier is made of artificial ice walls, but if you find the right angle for photos, the results are quite good. The guide also proactively helped us find photo spots, which was very considerate. Our second stop was Nami Island, and it was lunchtime. The tour guide introduced the island's history and local cuisine on the bus. Everyone in the group was interested in the stir-fried chicken hot pot, so we all went to enjoy it. During the meal, the guide also proactively helped us order, saving us a lot of trouble since we don't speak Korean. You can get to the island by boat or zipline. I actually wanted to try the zipline, but the -7 degree Celsius weather made me hesitate. I'd been to Nami Island in the summer before, but Nami Island in the snow offered a completely different experience. There are a few good spots; remember to look for them if you come. It's worth mentioning that there are several campfire areas on the island. If you're interested, you can buy cotton candy sets from the shops and try the familiar Hong Kong-style roasted cotton candy. (Many foreigners didn't seem to understand it and ended up with theirs all burnt black!) Our third stop was the highlight of our trip: Gangchon Rail Bikes. Preferring privacy, we opted to upgrade to two-seater bikes (it was only 10,000 won; without the upgrade, it's a four-seater, so you might have to share if you need to). Starting from the old railway, even those with less stamina needn't worry; the entire journey is very easy, allowing you to relax and enjoy the environment. The train slowly winds its way through barren farmland, glides gently across icy streams, and climbs charming little hills, interspersed with themed tunnels that add to the experience. Finally, you transfer to a small train; if you're worried about the cold, be sure to run fast to grab an indoor seat, but if you want to take photos, the outdoor area is the better choice. After a short train ride, we could already see our guide waiting for us in the distance. Our final stop was the Garden of Morning Serenity, which was already in the evening. We had visited before, but that was during the day. This time, seeing the lights at night was a completely different experience. I highly recommend taking photos from the small boat amidst the sea of blue lights! Finally, it was time to head back and the tour ended! The guide was very thoughtful; seeing that we were a couple, he kept helping us find good spots for photos. Having a car throughout the trip was also very convenient; we could leave our inexpensive belongings in the car. I recommend this tour if you want a relaxed experience of sightseeing.
