Reviews: Kuala Lumpur Popular Attractions + Pink Mosque + Batu Caves 1-Day Tour [Private Charter]

Because of limited time, I booked a private car through Trip.com, hiring a guide (who also served as a driver) to give me a quick tour of Malaysia. I'm very grateful to driver Xiaoqiang, who explained the history of many attractions and local culture during the trip. He also got off at each site with me and was very helpful in taking photos. I'm truly thankful. If you're too lazy to walk or transfer between different modes of transport, hiring a private car is a great experience, especially in hot Malaysia. Being able to immediately enjoy air conditioning after visiting the sights is fantastic!
Reviews: Kuala Lumpur Half Day City Guided Tour - Morning or Afternoon Tour Option

I loved everything. My tour was short—three hours—but during that time, the guide showed me many places and told me about the country and its traditions. He's a very responsive person who loves his country and his work. If you have some free time, definitely take the tour. Technically, you can continue on your way from the last location. All the best!

A huge thank you to our guide, Tu, for his hard work and excellent service today! The itinerary was very well-planned, and his extensive professional knowledge helped us gain a deeper understanding of Malaysian history and culture. He also pointed out the best spots for photos at each attraction and even acted as our photographer from time to time. Although it was tiring, it was a very enjoyable day. We were very satisfied with the trip and give Tu a thumbs up! 👍
Reviews: Genting Highlands & Batu Caves One Day Tour with Guide option and Cable Car Ride

This was a purely introductory tour; if you want to ride the rides, you'll definitely need more time. The park is located high up (level 5), so you'll need a lot of time for the cunifiler, and then you have to take the escalators down to the Chinese Temple (level 3). The outlet (level 2) isn't very large, but it will still take time. It was cloudy, so we couldn't admire the beauty of the mountains. Plan on more time for the temple if you want to go up there; there's no elevator. On the same level, you have to walk a bit, and there's a Buddha statue. I really enjoyed the trip. On the way, we stopped at the Batu Caves, where there's a Hindu temple. It was hot going up, but it's worth seeing once. The stairs smelled strongly (probably from monkey droppings), and I felt a bit nauseous, and the altitude made me dizzy. It's nice that the stairs aren't all uphill, with some rest areas. I didn't count the steps; the guide said there were 272. The toilet downstairs costs 0.50 rubles in cash. Those with cards were a bit taken aback. I personally paid for a tourist's toilet.

A very cost-effective day trip, driver Dennis Chen is warm and friendly, knows the local customs, and has a good experience.
Reviews: Putrajaya Tour With Pink Mosque and River Cruise Experience Half Day Tour
Guest User2025-07-29
Thoroughly enjoyed myself on this half day tour. Group size (roughly 12 people) wasn't overwhelming. Plenty of space and the coach bus ride between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya was very comfortable. Our guide Mcpall was friendly and provided entertaining commentary. Tour was well organised, we were kept informed and there was plenty of time for exploring and photos.
