Overall, it was a very satisfying tour. I chose this driver after hearing via email that they had an experienced driver who didn't speak English. The driver was Mr. Shangshan Wakasui, and we communicated using a translation app without any problems. He was a very sincere person, and although we fell asleep as soon as we got in the car, he turned off the music to provide a quiet space. The driving was smooth, and we were able to travel comfortably without getting carsick. Jinshanling on the Great Wall had few tourists, making it the perfect location for taking pictures of the spectacular scenery, and I was deeply moved by the sight of the Great Wall stretching endlessly. I believe this was all thanks to the driver's skillful driving, which allowed us to reach the Great Wall safely.

The tour includes round-trip transportation (which is best arranged in advance), and they explain how to access the city walls and the entrance process. They provide transportation to the entrance, where you can have lunch on your own, or in our case, we brought our own food. Once at the top of the walls, we took some time to eat and relax, as they give you plenty of time to explore the beautiful walls on your own. On the way back, they make a stop in another town; you can enter for a fee if you wish, or wait outside. From there, you can see the walls illuminated at night. For us, the tour was exactly what we expected and very reasonably priced compared to other tours. Susy was very friendly and attentive to the pickup.

We found this tour great! The bus starts early morning and takes about 2,5 hours to get to Jinshanling. A short shuttle bus service from the ticket gate to a souvenir selling area was included, however not all the way up to the wall, which some other tourists outside our tour took. The hike is quite hard, the wall goes up and down steeply and many times. We had a great guide, who took good care of all our group members and explained clearly the timeline and itinerary of the day. Our group reached the east gate to catch our bus back to Beijing at around 14:30. The way back to Beijing takes a bit longer due to evening traffic. We reached Beijing a bit before 6pm, which was great considering other tours might arrive late at night.

The tour was absolutely worth it. I was traveling alone, which is why I decided to book it, and it exceeded all my expectations. I was picked up from my hotel right on time. We had lunch, and I was taken to a tea ceremony that I absolutely loved. Andy was always very attentive, explaining many things and sharing the history of China with me. The car was extremely comfortable, and the driver was excellent. The visit to the Great Wall was truly beautiful. They were very patient and waited for me, as I wanted to spend more time walking and exploring. We ended the day in one of the most spectacular places in the world — the section of the Great Wall that can be seen at night. Andy even helped me take photos and stayed with me throughout the experience.
